It is better if the sound of background music is low. Because the background music makes the guitar sound less audible.

Using a background music track is nice, but sometimes the other instruments are too loud, so it's tough to hear and enjoy the guitar. Adding lyrics and chord changes in time with the music is good. But when the other instruments are too strong, it's hard to feel the guitar's special sound and magic. Although you always provide best lesson :)
