I've watched a few interviews with her and what I get from them all, and this one, is that she has truly put her actual self out into the world. Everyone asks her about all her processes and decisions, but with this EP she says over and over that it was effortless. Because that is how insanely talented she is. This is just who she is. The sound, vibe, energy, feelings, and lyrics are her. That simple. Her fashion choices aren't characters or alter egos. She said once that her fashion on videos or on stage is a place she sort of gives herself permission to be that part of herself at that moment. Expressing who she really is at different times and places. Not a character, but another part of herself expressing it with ideas of a cool outfit. Chinchilla puts together a sound and look that is so unique and captivates us. Most of us watch in awe thinking it's some process of creativity, when in reality, she is just being herself and it's the most amazing thing. So much talent and so unique. She is my favorite artist of all time. I can't get enough.

I loved listening to this interview. Chinchilla bringing her band to the US, was just amazing, and shows the true loyalty Chinchilla has to people she trusts. I bet it gave her such confidence having good people around who she’s worked with all summer. I also loved hearing that Chinchilla is writing new music, and I am extremely excited to hear what’s going to come next. Chinchilla’s style of performance is so genuine and she really seeks a connection with her audience. She is totally fire and all her tracks on the EP are amazing.

Great interview, it's always good when the interviewer and interviewee both enjoy just having a cosy chat. Chinchilla is such a natural, talented, warm and down to earth individual it makes the music all the more relatable and engaging. Talking of characters and theatrics, it would be interesting if Chinchilla gets to hang out in Hollywood a little during the six weeks in LA, to perhaps add a little of her sparkle and flair to another form of artistic project.
