Great detailed tutorial, followed checklist closely, procedure excellent. Most accurate and best I've seen on the MD 80. I would like to see missed altitude approach / go around performed, that would be cool. Thanks again!!

The one thing I always do Froogle is change the default POV. I always thought the default POVs somewhat lower than they should. Especially looking back at the seat.

Great video Pete. Would be great if you could do an ortho4xp instructonal video with your preferred ortho settings some time. I have a 4TB HDD on order and indend to fill it entirely with ortho tiles!

I wanted to fly this plane so bad but couldn’t get enough general training and specifically the MDS 80. Don’t know why I couldn’t you at the time but here you are now. Maybe I’ll reload X Plane and give it another go with your vids

Another aircraft that can fly fast and land slow is the Vickers VC10. In fact from 250kts to Vat you need hardly touch the throttles. Simply by using the speed brakes, flaps and gear you can perfectly control the airspeed right to touch down.

ray hughes in x plane you have orbx quality airports for free. Take a look at MisterX6's work, and at the new Captain7 EDAH. Or ofc Ortho4XP that froogle uses

The guy who has done Ortho4XP needs to find a way for it to render 2 tiles at a time at a certain resolution. while in Tile A it should be rendering TILE B.... when tile A is out of LOS it should be Deleted/unrenedered out of the game. If this was some kind of possibility it would mean you could auto gen the whole planet on the fly, which would be so awesome. i can see the issues he would face, having to render 2 tiles every time would be HDD/SSD intensive for sure, and whether the game would be able to do 'live' updates is another thing. But maybe X-plane should definitely work with him/her to both the game and Ortho4XP as a feature in game.

Xplane 11 looks so awesome if there was 737 for it i would switch there. Not sure about specs required. About this aircraft, i think i would be below the glide slope all the time due to small windows and high nose up required.

There is the IXEG 737 which from what I've seen is pretty good

Although it is the 737-400 I believe (forgot to include it), so it isn't the NG with the nice screens and such.

there is a Default 738 on XP11, also you can buy the brilliant IXEG 733, the best addon i ever see. I spent much time in a real B733 thanks to my pilot friend, its completly like the real one
