It just dawned on me that the singularity that trapped Ronnie also swallowed up Eddie and who knows how many people. So if this season really is doing a take on the blackest night storyline we could see any number of people returning. It won’t be random either, the resurrected will have specific targets, those who will be most emotionally effected by their return.

After all we know that the upcoming *"Justice U"* will focus on Diggle as a Green Lantern, training a team of 5 metahumans, but he first needs to re-open the ring's box and learn how to use it and all that good stuff. If The Flash managed to pull it off, it would save this season soooo much...

The Phantom Stranger takes Ray Terrill (The Ray) Felicity and Nyssa al Ghul there, so Felicity could ask the Guardians for the Book of Oa, so they could find the paragons quicker. Sinestro is there too, but the planet is eventually destroyed by the anti-matter wave, so... All of this to say that with all the Green Lantern teasing they've done over multiple Arrowverse shows, they could easily adapt Blackest Night with some changes here and there. After all, *Crisis on Infinite Earths* was also very different from the original comic book storyline.

But... didn't she choose Barry instead of Eddie in episode 1x15 (first time he time traveled epi) or am I mistaken??? In season 1, we saw that she always loved Barry and Joe even confirmed it! My understanding of the end of season 1 and why she chose Eddie was because she thought Barry would change the timeline by saving his mom. Even if Eddie didn't die, Barry/Iris would have eventually gotten together.

It’s only temporary for this season, him coming back from iris’s time sickness is probably just to remind people of his character again which is a good move. He’s probably gonna come back later this season tho or next season because of the reverse flash. As we know, Eddie thawne is Eobards ancestor, and now that the reverse flash lost his speed, and his connection to the negative speed force, he’s probably fading out of existence because of that and Eddie’s death. So he will probably need to bring Bring Eddie out of the past and into the future. Bring him back to life. “But why do that? Wouldn’t Eddie just kill himself again to save everyone and defeat the reverse flash?”.. not if the reverse flash makes Eddie jealous and angry by showing him how iris is married to Barry now, and everyone pretty much forgot all about Eddie’s sacrifice. I’d be pissed too. He would definitely become a villain after that.

The Thawne family lost their child so the nurse gave them one of Nora’s babies and told Nora he was stillborn. I’m sure Eddie isn’t actually Barry’s brother in the show but since they haven’t really talked about Eddie’s childhood and stuff they could easily get away with it.

It’s so interesting that Barry knows all the science and how it works and yet he still needs the crew to make it. Every other meta human is that person and a alter ego ie Barry/Flash, Cisco/Vibe, Oliver/the Arrow, but Caitlin was Her and another person entirely Frost, which always bothered me. It was silly. If this true by them saying major character death, that is misleading.

Bringing back Ronnie is justified but bringing back Eddie is just a slap in the face at this point it’s kind of stupid I think what’s happening is that Thawn is finding a way to mess with the timeline or do something like that so he can bring people back from the past

To be fair Eddie's death was negated a long time ago. Thawne comes back alive every season and sometimes multiple times in one season. Heck he randomly became the final boss in season 5
