the 2 shield mods are a combo, put those on anyone with a shield and you will be golden. Making sure your companion has shield recharge or abilities to do so and your nearly unstopable

I put a similar shield regen on Xaku. Worked well.

but uhhh i get its not ment to be meta but what is the point of using hideous resistnace if you can just get overguard through the augment and run that instead of adaptation since you are going for shields?

for the build its less sweaty to have status immunity through hideous resistance then overguard. When ever I have the acolytes come barging in they are the ones that normally take most of it if not all of my overguard like violence. I will say that the meta build is still meta for a reason but as far as a second option for him, this makes a good 2nd place. Also, just hate always having to build a frame the same way with a hint of something else.
