Of course AI doesn't do this all by itself. It's algorithm written to produce music. All different parameters have been fed into it in order to produce this. AI IMHO is a fad. This song is passable at best and I don't think that any algorithm generated music can really replace real people making music.

So you're saying the AI I'm using at work for creating my python scripts are a fad? I disagree. When that is said, I totally understand what you're saying. If we're considering sentient AI, thats definitely something else, where as in this case, an algorithm-trained AI created this, it's just a matter of perspective. Maybe AI isn't really the correct word to use, when describing a trained computer.

@@kayDawgTV The way i see the difference between the AI we have now and actual sentience is how the information is obtained by the AI. Right now AI depends upon a base of information that is provided by humans that they can then generate new information from, but it will always be restricted by the base of information and wont be truly sentient. A sentient AI would be able to produce its own information using logic and reasoning and would be able to observe or test its ideas and continue to develop upon them, not relying on a human provided base of information but synthesizing its own. Until then all we have are Algorithmic AI, which are still capable of changing the world and are making good progress in doing so, but it isnt artificial sentience, that is a whole other beast that people actually should be worried about if it ever comes.

@@JorisVDC you underestimate that humans have limitations that AI doesnt have. A real singer has a limited vocal range and techniques. AI isnt limited to that. Its not limited to humanly possible sounds either. Ai can play the guitar faster than any human guitarrist ever could. It can play instruments that would require 30 fingers to play. AI can produce sounds that are literally impossibly for humans to create and harmonise 200 different instruments PERFECTLY. AI can ply the most complex songs with zero errors even such that were written to show the limitations of human capability because no human can ever play these without mistake
