Amber lights are legal, red and blue, not so much. Laws vary by state, but I've never heard of ambers being illegal anywhere. With me driving an ex cop car (with white and amber lights), and doing the Ecto thing, legal lights are something those of us into all that need to know about. Sadly, the all blue lights on the original Ecto would be highly illegal everywhere in the country. Could also be another reason they changed all the lighs on the Ecto-1A for GB2.

Yes you can do amber light. Color light only becomes a problem when diving on public roads. There are only certain colors that can be facing forward and other to the rear. Blue and some state red are a big no no. Other color are just giving the cops a legal reason to pull you over and maybe write a ticket.
