I also noticed that when I apply a second coat of Seche Vite it's like you can tell where the line is or its like it shrinks it, so I also use a different top coat. Also it's great to have u back, the nail world is just not the same without you, or rather it was just empty.

I’m so glad you said that tip about using a different top coat after seche vite! Thank you so much ☺️ I have not done my nails in a little over a year because I kept having trouble with the top coat. After a fantastic design seche vite would eat away at the nail polish by the second or third day and it was so infuriating. I thought there was something wrong with me 😞 I never thought to try a different top coat! I’ve been watching your videos for years and when I saw you were back I had to continue to support you even though I don’t do my nails like I use to. You’ve inspired me to dedicate time to my nails again! 🤗 thanks so much!

Hi Raquel its so nice to see u back! We missed u a lot n yeah also saw ur last video but couldn't get time to comment on it .. This nailart design ive tried (the tape one) sadly even after cutting it a little shorter than how i want it still lifts after i apply my top coat.. Im always disappointed in those kinda tapes but my daughter still wants me to wear those kind of nails.. LOL.. Love u lots stay healthy 🤗

So glad you’re back!, I’m having the same thing happen with Seche Vite top coat, it shrinks. Any suggestions for an alternative top coat? I’ve started using the Sapphire nail strengthening base coat that comes in the blue packaging you recommended, I’m seeing good results. 💅🏻💅🏻💐🌺❤️🥀🌹thank you for all your tutorials. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much 💖 Even though Seche Vite shrinks my polish I still use it because it's the fastest drying topcoat I've ever tried. Mia Secret also has a good quick dry topcoat and it's good and doesn't shrink the polish.

How long a manicure with tape lasts?

It lasts until I remove it. The trick is to cut the tape shorter than the nails free edge, apply a thick topcoat, and reapply topcoat once every other day.
