Richard Bailey the pistol isn't the only viable weapon tho. The automatic weapons have a higher ttk, but you have to be close and aim for the head with them. This game plays a lot closer to Halo CE in terms of intensity

@@Bytrl I mean it's the Halo with the biggest skillgap, and is more exciting visually than any other Halo. Relevance doesn't really matter since Halo is in between games, and it's definitely a top tier Halo. The only reason people don't like it is because of nostalgia or they weren't good at it.

Ever heard of pressure launches, ghost jumps, or super bouncing? Ever actually watched pros play halo 2 or 3 and implement top tier movement? The skill gap in h2/3 is way.. wayyy higher my dude. Halo 5 hands you everything. Clamber negates any skill required to navigate a map efficiently. The bullet magnetism is like aimbot. They literally curve around corners. The power weapons are called out by the announcer, and pinned on the map, so no need to learn timers or locations or let your team know when you picked up a weapon/powerup to determine its next spawn. Also no descope. Its way easier to pick up and play halo 5, and be decent, than it is to pick up and play h2 or h3. Saying the skill gap is larger in halo 5 is like saying its easier to cook a perfect steak, than it is to microwave ramen noodles.

Been watching Frosty gameplay on twitch and one thing I noticed that makes him stand out from other players is he thrives on being aggressive. Most people advice to not be aggressive in order to improve in Halo 5.

My theory is that moving slowly allows you to learn patterns of how other players (typically) move. Once mastered, you can gradually speed up and eventually/instinctively predict how other players on the map are going to move based on power weapon availability, recent enemy kill locations, and teammate death locations... and eventually you can reach 10% of Frosty’s performance and speed.
