This is a tutorial for Frozen Cheesecake On A Stick- perfect for a DIY Fourth of July Treat! First I show you tips for how to make a creamy cheesecake with no cracks , and a recipe for the chocolate shell coating. The trick to dipping frozen treats is to make your own chocolate "Magic Shell”, it is so easy and delicious. We also take it to the next level by flavoring the red chocolate Strawberry, which your friends and family will love! These frozen treats will help your friends and family beat the heat this Fourth of July 2021🇺🇸🎆

🤍 Recipes:
💙 Graham Cracker Crust
-3/4 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
-2 Tbsp Sugar
-3 Tbsp Melted Butter
Tips:
*Grease your pan well and line with parchment paper to prevent sticking- I recommend either a 6 inch cheesecake pan or springform pan, the push-up pan I used can be found here: amzn.to/3h02ux1
*Bake for 8 minutes at 350 Fahrenheit
🎆 Cheesecake Filling *All ingredients at Room Temperature!
- 2 8 oz. packages Cream Cheese, softened
- 7 oz sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tbsp Flour
- 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp Clear Vanilla
❤️ Tips:
*Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature! This is key to preventing cracks from forming in your cheesecake
* Use a waterbath by heating your water, and placing the cheesecake inside or two pans. Fill the outer edge with your water- being careful not to get any water under your cheesecake pan (can make your crust soggy)
* Depending on your oven, bake for 1 hour 15 mins- 1 hour 30 mins at 325 Fahrenheit- it will be done when it is mostly firm with a slight jiggle to the center, no browning
* Turn off the heat and keep your oven door open for 1 hour before taking your cheesecake out! Let it sit
*Chill your cheesecake overnight before removing from pan- this is important for keeping the cheesecake as firm as possible
* Slice your cheesecake into 8 triangles and insert wooden popsicle sticks about halfway through each cheesecake slice
* Once sticks are inserted, freeze slices for at least 3-4 Hours before dipping
🤍 Chocolate Coating
- 7.5 oz Lindt White Chocolate Bar, chopped
- 7.5 oz Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers, chopped
- 4.5 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- Red and Blue Powder Food Coloring
- *Strawberry Flavoring if desired
💙 Tips:
* This coating is not recommended for dipping strawberries! It is extra runny and is special for dipping frozen dipped treats
* Microwave for 1 round of 30 seconds and stir, then microwave in 10 second intervals until completely smooth, stirring continuously
* Make sure that your chocolate does not reach above 90 degrees- to prevent this I always use an infrared thermometer: amzn.to/35Wrb7f
* Dip and apply sprinkles immediately, the magic shell sets very quickly once it makes contact with the frozen cheesecake! (:
* Be creative with flavorings! I used strawberry flavoring for the red chocolate, blueberry flavoring would also be great for the blue!

Hi Emilia! I have never tried this specific recipe without sour cream, however I'm sure you can try it 🤗 many cheesecake recipes only contain the cheesecake and condensed milk. I find the sour cream gave the cheesecake a creamy result that is ideal for a crack-free cheesecake, especially for a clean chocolate dip, hope that helps! ❤️❤️ Let me know if you try the recipe without the sour cream and if you have any more questions

Hi I want to make this but I am leaving to go out of town Friday....can I use gel food coloring instead of the powder? If I order it online...it won't be back in time before I leave to go out of town... Thanks!

Hi Tonya 💕 Sorry for the inconveience, it is definitely hard to order certain supplies at times! I don't want to give false information because adding a large amount of oil to the magic shell may alter the consistency, and cause it to crack after dipping the cheesecake , and I don't want to chance that happening to you! To be safe, I would recommend dipping in the white for the base, and adding colorful drizzles/sprinkles maybe? That way you can still color your drizzling chocolate with the oil coloring, and the white shell base won't crack 🤗 Hope that is an alternative for you, let me know if you have any other questions or feedback !

@@SugarMagicbyCristina okay so I finally received everything and the pan is not exactly correct... I ordered it on Amazon and it says Fat Daddio's but it's a round layer cake pan and it's 6'x3'...can I still use this with the parchments round paper? I'm so bummed about it because when I searched for it that's the description it said... SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️☹️

Hi Tonya❤️ , did you order the same pan I provided with my link in the description box? 6"x3" is correct , it should have the push-up removable bottom, if it doesn't have the removable bottom they may have sent you the wrong item! If they inconvenienced you by sending you a pan without the removable bottom I suggest returning it. Do you have a local Target/Kohls or Bed Bath and Beyond? You can purchase a springform pan in it's place
