That combo with the frozen pike and jellyfish deviant works really well. They play off each other quite nicely.

Very clear and useful video! I do agree this weapon is a must have for exploration. The weapon is very good with ice vortex for crowd control and the maintenance is so easy (ice cubes + spoiled food for every tier). It also looks very fun while attached to the bag (i do prefer the esthetic of the blue version of the weapon which is floppy 😂).

the best place to farm the pike is complete west side of the map there is a bear cave (lots of videos about it to farm rawhide) the waters in this cave is kinda bugged and only drop 2 types of fight blackmouths and the pikes making it the fastest place to fish for them and its instant fishing no need to to the weird moving the mouse in the opposite direction the fish just instantly get caught after you click

@@Haaaterade not sure you have the right cave then the fish drop there 50% per catch as the loot pool for the waters is only 2 types of fish dont waste time fishing in other spots Edit: (-700,-2835) is the map co-ords for the entrance just run to the back of the cave near the exit there should be deeper waters

@@MrGoldstinger I agree this spot was 100x faster in the cave. Though I got stuck a few times in the map so had to keep using unstuck so that slowed it down a little. But having been here before to get rawhide didnt realize the fishing was so easy there as well.

You can premake the ice cubes. They won't melt in the fridge

Seen a few videos of you and it seems like you know alot about this game. What do you think about the Earthly Boots? I never saw anyone recommend it if an armor slot is open. 30% dmg boost seems insane no?

@th9667 It's a great key armor piece, the only downside is it's really only good for a bullseye build. Using it with other builds usually would mean you're giving up that build's key armor. It's definitely a great piece, but it's not a one-size-fits-all armor piece.

@@ItzKocaine You sure you're at the right vendor? The one in the NE in Red Sands I pointed out is the only fishing vendor that you can buy the blueprint from.

@madao1183 Once you buy the blueprint and craft it, you can repair it whenever you want for a few ice cubes and some spoiled food.

fishing is way easier now, it says what fish is hooked so if you dont want it you can just break the line by holding left click

What's the best Calibration for this? Would you say Light Striker with 2 Elemental DMG Bonus be the best?

@@hieuy376 So I have 2 options currently. One is Hard-Striker Style with 2 Elemental DMG and a Light Striker Style with 2 Elemental DMG. My thoughts on this was that going with HS would allow for abusing Heavy Attacks with less stamina cost, whereas LS would allow for more of mobility and sustainability though faster strikes which translates to faster heals. But I'm not sure which is optimal so I went with HS since that had higher Attribute rolls for me.

@@Totes_Bigotes That’s funny bc as soon as I sent this i decided to opt for the LS w 2 Elemental attr. for the exact same reason you stated. Lmk how you like HS style and i’ll report back to my experience with LS!
