[Frozen Tundra - NaturalOne] Athred stumbled through the massive drifts of snow, fighting with every step to not be thrown over by the wind. To fall would mean death, as the snow would entomb him in an icy prison. He pulled his heavy cloak tighter around him, feeling the snow gather on his shoulders, weighing him down. Fear churned in his stomach, but not of the storm or any of the creatures that dwelled in the Drez'mar mountains. There was a legend, an old myth, that the spirit of a dead god roamed these tundral regions, one that even the great frost giants, even Drez'mar himself, feared. As Athred continued to heave himself through the snow, a figure appeared in the distance, walking with ease towards him. That churning bubble of fear turned into a lightning bolt that lanced through him. Was this what he had heard of? The man reached for his trusted ax, ready to fight to the bitter end. To his surprise, though, a tall white dragonborn swelling with muscle broke the storm wall, looking at him with icy blue eyes. It was bare-chested, wearing only hide leggings. "Why have you come here?" it asked in a voice deeper than any man could muster. Surprised that it could speak his language, Athred told the creature that he was here to discover secrets hidden deep within the mountains. The dragonborn looked about. "Come. Something approaches, and you shall die if you stay out here. Follow me." Before Athred could ponder his decision, that fear engulfed him suddenly, and he hurried off after the creature. The Rogue Lineage devs really did a good job picking this a the tundra ambient sound. This gives a feeling of danger, and that no matter what you are always at a risk of dying to a howler or frostbite.. or someone lingering the tundra looking for victims.

@@MichaelGhelfiStudios This was a community years ago now. over 3 years ago or so. a small game on roblox. Fantasy combat type game with classes and races. there was an area abandoned by people, they called it "God-forsaken lands". you couldnt see 5 feet infront of you. it was known as the tundra. Dangrous dimension shifting wolf monsters roamed and if you didnt stay warm by various fires spread out you would of frozen to death. there was an ice dragon too. Demi-Gods hid in those lands away from mortal attention. and deep within a laboratory that tampered with ones race in an attempt to create a new artificial one. This sound ambience is engraved in the minds of many.

An active medieval arctic mining site, wind blowing over head, the sound pickaxes and other tools, men hauling stone and ice out of the way, the gentle sounds of pullies and wooden lifts taking men down into a large open pit mine. all with an odd musical rhythm kept in place by the beat of pickaxes striking in near unison.
