Indeed it would have made the whole movie a lot more grown up like the lion king. But i dont really think they expected such an old audience to like it, besides i think it would have made the movie a bit too emotional for kids. Heck, im an 18 year old dude and felt a lump in my throat when Elsa cried on Annas frozen shoulders :)

This song is indescribably beautiful. It has such an intensely ethereal feel to it. Personally I feel this song doesn't fit the characters or the overall story of Frozen. I always feel like it would've fit a larger more epic story than the one in the movie. Don't get me wrong, I like the story of Frozen. This is just the feeling I get listening to it. I love this music so much, it reminds me of the landscapes of my home - which is where they got it from! Norway is a gorgeous place, just as wondrous and magical as the music implies. In the original Vuelie composition you can actually hear the notes to a popular Christmas psalm sung in Norway called Deilig er Jorden (Fairest Lord Jesus in English). It's always thrilling to hear this composition and listen for the notes I know so well. All my love to Frozen fans

this simple song is very powerful and comforting. I love both movies but for different reasons: in the original, it's more a story of how a struggle is turned to self-improvement and how important love is especially a family's love. in the 2nd, I absolutely love that it's much more colorful and welcoming, and even though there's a Lot of songs (some unneeded & some just down right cringy) Elsa's songs, Into the Unknown & Show Yourself, are by far the best! and for them to take the dark turn in Next Right Thing with Anna was spectacular and although dark very inspiring. I feel the 2nd had better atmosphere and design than the 1st but I still love both of them!

I love music like this. It so beautiful and feels spiritual in some ways. It's the one thing from the movie that I can really enjoy and it somewhat reminds me of Eloi and Stone Language by Klaus Badelt.

Fun fact! Vuelie is the South Sami word for the type of song it is (the chanting style of singing called yoik), that'd be like naming a screamo song "Scremo Song"

I know this is off-topic, but I just noticed something: Frozen (2013) takes place during summer, Frozen Fever happens at spring, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure is at winter (Christmas) and Frozen II happens in autumn. They really got all four seasons.
