Thank You! Thank You!! Thank you!!! It worked for my son's LG Stylo 3 (Metro PCS). I was almost ready to give up. This is the ONLY METHOD that worked. I didn't need a Bluetooth device or a PC. The first two times, unknown sources was still greyed but I read through the comments and noticed you said to try resetting your phone until it worked. Well, the 3rd time restarting the phone did it!! Unknown sources could be enabled. After that, I followed the rest of the video and set up a new Google account. Thanks a million, man!! Peace!!!

It works. Be careful when he says one thing but taps another "I'm going to tap on settings." **Taps on Play Store instead** Also be super careful in the middle section when you're installing nova launcher. If you accidentally tap back one too many times you'll end up back at the welcome screen with TalkBack suspended. I was unable to "un-suspend" TalkBack and had to factory reset the phone and start over.

Press volum up and down for long time ... it will allow you to do so .. but it will not effect you

Put in phone code to get to battery info but that did not work on a lg stylo 3. I figured out if once you get to maps (6:19 in video) click the three bars for menu then select "Start Driving". From there, click the microphone and tell it to "Go To Settings" and it will take you to the settings menu and you can skip the call/code step and continue following along. Other than that, be sure to watch what he is actually selecting because sometimes it is different than what he is saying. Worked for me. Thanks.

At the last step before erasing the phone to factory setting the phone asked for a 4-number passcode. After trying a few of the most basic combinations I was able to guess the right passcode, 1-2-3-4. After that the phone was reset and it was not 100% functional. Great video!

just an update.. i got to the part when you type in the phone code. goes back to settings but unknown sources is still locked. it is NOVEMBER 9th. just as a reference date. the phone has the DEC. 2017 security patch.

The volume stopped working on my other lg aristo do you no any thing that could fix it and its not stuck in headphone mode the headphone jack is clean and fine and all the volumes are turned up and it only works with headphones or a bluetooth speaker.
