FrSky Ethos: Failsafe, setting throttle cut and proper RX orientation: O-20 series Episode 5

FrSky Ethos has a built in throttle cut for electric planes. You'll certainly want to turn this on.
We’ll explore the different failsafe options and discuss what may be the best solution for your circumstance. We also cover how to setup throttle cut and end off by discussing how to place your receiver antennas in the proper orientation for your plane. All information has been updated for Ethos 1.5.x
BTW, the proper channel for throttle cut is SF, I changed it in later episodes.
The O-20 Series is a 20 part series on the FrSky Ethos based transmitter. Instead of a random series of videos not tied together with any common theme, this is my attempt to make one very long series of short videos with one theme, taking you from total Ethos novice to comfortably moving around inside of Ethos . I'm not understanding the throttle cut on a spring return switch. Is this just for in flight?

Throttle cut has to be on the non-spring return switch (momentary switch). If you're using an X14 please use the switch on the other side of the screen that is a 2 position swtich.

@@FrSky-Steve I'm using an X 18. In your video, you say your using an X 20S, and using SH for throttle cut. According to the X 20S manual, SH is two position momentary. Thanks for pointing out the need for non momentary switch, my head feels betterer now!
