If you want a better compatibility. Multi team been working very close to Edgetx you can get a radio with Edgetx like Radio Master Tx16s. Because Ethos that run on Frsky isn't compatible of all the protocol because it needs for other protocol lua script.

Hi, very informative. I have spektrum and am considering moving to Frsky and have been researching the multiprotocol module you have demonstrated Can you tell me if you have tried with spektrum telemetry receivers and whether or not it worked ? I had heard that the functionality was not available yet ?

It should bind okay, but you probably won’t get telemetry. Honestly, if I want telemetry, I’m using an FrSky receiver. It works great. New video in that will be coming out soon. Thanks

any feedback on the range? the tandem radios are very well made and i thaught to switch from spektrum

Range very good from what I’ve found. Had jets almost out of sight, and no issues. Good luck!

How reliable is this multi protocol module? Is it safe to use on my (pretty expensive) F5J models (multiplex receiver inside?)

I have found it be very reliable when communicating with a Spektrum receiver, but I make no guarantees

Thanks a lot for sharing this important video. I am trying to move from spektrum and futaba to frsky. I have a couple of questions please. I have many telemetry dsmx receivers, would this module also be able to read the telemetry? Also, I saw experiment where frsky range lasted to 5.7km while spektrum was 0.8km. So any idea if the frsky module used with the spektrum receivers, which range will prevail ?!

The experiment video is called the ultimate rc airplane radio on a KZbin channel called the lighter side of RC.

Set the transmitter and receiver up just like for any Spektrum plane. Throttle on channel 1.

Hi, I know this is a little old, but when using this multiprotocol module, it automatically assigns channel assignments as a normal Spektrum with throttle in the first possition next to the battery/bind pins, so you don't have to move any servo conector in the receiver.

You mean using it to program the stabilization on a spektrum receiver, for example? I don't think so, but it's something to check out.

I bought this transmitter and this module a couple days ago. Today is Sunday and I could not bind not fly any of my models with it. Thinking about returning it tomorrow cause the spectrum option did not showed up in my menu. How frustrating to wanting to fly with this but not being able to even bind them.

Sorry for the late reply on this. And sorry you had trouble. In the RF system page, in the Type field, you should see Multimodule in the first field and Spektrum in the right hand field. That didn't show up?
