Would interested to know as if any difference on latency after performed receiver's un-inverted SBUS hack, as there is a hardware inverter stand between SBUS signal before flight controller. and also the weird thing is Frsky internal hardware too also doing the inverted signal processing, in which possible part of the delay.

Def need to try the latency tests on this radio on FrOS and OpenTX. I’ve already swapped mine to OpenTX. I like the OS much better.

My biggest gripe with the qx7 is how cheap the plastic feels. Does the material used on this one feel nicer to the touch? Another great vid dude. Looking forward to seeing its insides.

It makes me feel better knowing that I am not the only one without an X9D. Maybe one day my collection will be decent enough to use something of that caliber, though for now just keeping myself in the air seems like a feat in itself. I also do not know if anyone has noticed this but the Horus reminds me of the robot emoji, oh it also reminds me of the maid robot on the Jetsons, Rosie. (Yeah I googled the name for it). Hope you have fun with it man and keep us informed of how things go @^>^@

Bennie Leip yup lol that’s the Horus. Not sure about worse. I am using a fs i6 since my fs-th9x is not working right now. Not that either one is “bad” but when everyone you see on the net uses an X9D Plus or QX7 or something like it. Maybe I just have transmitter envy. Not that using a better one would make me fly better anyways, just have to keep practicing to get better.

Denied Access 😆 i hear you , but whit my transm. if i am 8m high and i fal down and i give some trottle it wil react like 1m above the ground it feels like half of a second latency(dont know how mutch it realy is) so ill gues whit a good transmitter you wil fly also bttr

IMO my Turnigy TGY-i10 (FS-i10) has a superior, thinner form factor, much lighter weight, a touch screen color display, 5 total VR knobs 3 of which can be depressed to get them out of the way and preserve their position (that I use for super easy micro adjustments to EXPO of yaw, pitch and roll), among several other points such as regular micro USB charging of its internal-replaceable lipo and plug and play use on PC for Sims... all at a $99 price point that comes with TONS of extra stuff for telemetry for larger models if that's what your into (and I have full telemetry from my quad using the X6B RX). And it has lower latency than FrSky stuff?! I don't know. Why the heck the i10 is completely ignored?? FrSky is better at generating marketing hype? It's weird to me. Mysterious I tell you! lol

Well, it's ignored for a reason. At $50 price point, FS-i6 series is undoubtably the best transmitter on the market. It can do 10 channels, community firmware with various functions, frequency hopping protocol and more BUT at $100 price point, Q X7 do more things than FS-i10 series. I can see that you don't care too much about quality and firmware, but these two are the things that make a good transmitter. At two times i6 price, I'd expect ball bearing gimbal but it does not come with one and even worse, there is no hall gimbal version for FLYSKY Transmitters.
