I think any food pantry or any business like restaurant grocery stores anything that has food by the date or if it's a restaurant then they should put everything into it to go container. It's clear and take it to the food pantry instead of throw it in the trash.

The cookies 🍪 looked so yummy.glad you are still able food from the pantry. Because all are had to give out was two cans of tuna and one loaf bread and two boxes of Mac cheese.are town pantry does have much food to give out. But like you I grateful what I get. Blessings to you.😇🎅🏼

MCT oil can be blended with your hot coffee in the morning. Use a blender or give it a vigorous whisk. It'll keep you full for hours, allowing your body to take a break from digesting food.

Great Question! I can shop at the food pantry once a week. They have income guidelines in order to qualify to shop there. They decide how many items a household can get based on inventory. It fluctuates on pre-made meals, salads, desserts and dairy. Some items like toilet paper are set in stone, for 2 rolls a week. Thank you for subscribing to my Channel!

Hi Sarah! So happy to see a new video :). Today it snowed for the first time this winter! It was just flurries for a couple hours and didn't stick but I haven't seen snow in almost four years and it made me emotional. It really DOES snow in northwest Texas! You got lots of yummy protein this haul! The cute little house with tea is SO cute! It's definitely a decoration I'd keep for the holidays! They say to add MCT oil to bulletproof coffee, which is hot black coffee with butter and MCT oil blended together. It keeps you in ketosis but still lets you have a creamy, frothy coffee with healthy fat to keep you full. God bless you and I hope you have an amazing week

Oh I'm so glad you got snow flurries! It's raining right now and I looked out to see if it might turn to snow, but not yet. Thank you for letting me know about the MCT oil. ​@@CareFreeLivingChannelthen you can make a small batch of cranberry sauce when you have chicken or turkey or use them in other recipes. I do a half bag in the microwave. The recipes usually use the entire bag. Just be sure to use a big deep bowl as it really bubbles up. Cleaning it out after it cools is no fun. 😢

Oh the tea tin is from England from a shop called Mark's and Spencer's (I miss it as a Brit in the states) It's a middle class store and can be pricey so that's a really great find.

@ so probiotic on an empty stomach always! It just works better to recolonize the gut. The MCT oil or any oil is tricky to get blended into coffee properly. You can use a blender, a neutral bullet or a small handheld tiny blender. If you don’t mind, the oil will rise to the top otherwise.

MCT oil is excellent for you. In fact, thank you for reminding me to bring mine to my dementia client. It's great for dementia. I had a topical cavity deepening into my gums adjacent my tooth. I gargled with coconut oil (MCT OIL) for a week and it healed.

If you have a Walgreens near you, they have their store brand zip lock bags (both regular and freezer in several sizes) B1G2 Free for $2.79. Thats only 93 cents per box and an amazing deal ! That MCT oil is meant to go into coffee like creamer to make "bullet coffee". You can Google bullet coffee and it will tell you whats in it and why they used to think it was good for you. It VERY fattening though and not necessarily good for you unless you are eating Keto.

a day late here. you may need to get some long johns for mr. turtle!! the pantry haul was nice but kind of light. i hope you can go back soon. i hope you are doing well. still fighting a BUG here but slowly getting better. working hard on my budget as utilities etc are up. also do not have a car as mine needs expensive repairs and i can't do it. such is the reality of life, right? my son will help me get to appts etc but he works nights and sleeps days. been toying with the idea of electric bike. we can get pretty cold here but no snow. ah the joys of reality, right?
