The wanton wrappers are good in muffin cups filled with BBQ chicken mixed with ranch dressing and cream cheese or Buffalo chicken mixed with blue cheese and cream cheese. Very yummy and I sprinkle cheese and breadcrumbs on top to make them crunchy.

Amazing. I cycle between four Kroger’s in a 40 minute radius I hit all of them at least once or more a month and I’ve never seen so many deals like this. Very cool. Also, your pronunciation of cauliflower is adorable! I hope that’s not offensive.

We are going on a trip in May and we made a goal to eat from what we got already in the kitchen and ONLY buy things like milk and produce until then. It's like 60 days. It's a fun challenge!

I did it for a month because my paychecks seemed lower than normal and pretty much got my freezer down to elk rack and ham hocks and my pantry down to soup ingredients. I think I'll do the same until we get back from our May trip too.

I have done this. Part of the game is “why did they throw it away?” Found a bouquet of 11 roses, they threw it away bc it wasn’t a dozen. Vegetables that are too small, pretzels that got too crushed

In my country most stores mark the reduced items starting with about 15% reduction, then after 6 PM the reduction goes down to 30% and at 9 PM, to 60% on all reduced items. This has lowered the food waste almost to zero.

It's hard to find clearance items around, probably because I live in NYC, but when I do I stock up. Since I switched the Christine's way of shopping we are saving so much money. I do always scan the sales flyers and coupons though. My hubby doesn't is slow to change it but he's finally understanding that he should ask me if we have something in stock before running to the store and paying full price.

Out of the bazillion grocery stores I have shopped in my 39 years of life I have never once seen clearance produce like individual items...packaged salads or cut up stuff with expiration dates yes...but individual things like bananas or tomatoes..never!!! I am always amazed at the prices you routinely find.

I went to a business Costco that just opened where my old Costco was! I think you would enjoy going there! It was not cheap but there were good deals on cookware and knives and even food!

@@kaybonette It is called Costco Business Center and it is like a restaurant supply store. You can go in with regular membership. It is great for bakeware, knives, kitchen supplies for regular people that do not own restaurants. I love good quality cookware, but not the prices you pay at regular stores. You can find real deals on individual pots, pans, skillets, woks, etc. They also sell food, bigger than at regular Costco.

With the carb balance tortillas, I can definitely tell they are not regular tortillas. I just get smaller tortillas now to cut some calories. I tried one of the carb balance and threw the rest in the trashcan.

Ah, I miss Kroger so much. They pulled out of my area, leaving behind only their Harris Teeter stores which tend to run pretty expensive and don't have nearly as good or as frequent markdowns. I used to be able to get entire veggie trays for $1, Greek yogurts for a quarter each, buns for a quarter, ground turkey for $1 a pound. I had to *majorly* adjust my shopping strategy when they left.

If you're not a fan of a donut you've never tried a good donut girl.. If you ever have a chance to go to a daylight donuts please don't forget to stop and have one of their plane glazed donuts now the raspberry honey bun is the best but I know you don't like raspberries so just try a plain glazed and it will blow your mind🤯

Hey, it's been a while since I watched your channel, BUT, my husband and I go on a road trip and do all of our errands on the same day and we have a Kroger in that area and I LOVE them! I have a routine of how I navigate the store. I check all the clearance sections first them do my regular shopping. My best deals was a pumice soup bar for only $.89 and 10 boxes of sugar free Jello brand CHOCOLATE FUDGE (best flavor) for only $.25 each!!! They were very damaged, like smooshed but they were perfectly fine otherwise. I got them all, as I'm diabetic and I love their selection. So many dietary needs at really good price. The store brand special dietary foods are so cheap to get. I love their keto yogurt. Only $.40 at my store compared to like $1 for a name brand. REALLY good flavors top! I've always wanted to shop there and I'm so happy I am!

I always find Annie's brand goodies on clearance at my local Albertsons! I've gotten Annie's crackers, bunnies, cookie dough, cinnamon rolls and mac and cheese for SUPER cheap! I love shopping clearance groceries!

Ohhhh...those cookies you showed that have the chocolate layer on them are perfect for making S'mores! We always take them camping. The dark chocolate ones are the best. Here our strawberries are on "special" this week for $4.99 per pound and asparagus is $3.99 per pound! If we could get asparagus that cheap we'd be eating it till we all had asparagus pee lol. Strip loin steak is $14.99 per pound. The price of food is getting scary....

I Have to know, did you have trouble opening the talenti gelato? Every time me and my husbnad get it, you would think it was holding state secrets, it is always screwed on so tight. I usually have to run a butter knife around the inside of the the lid with it turned updside down on a towel.

Sometimes it depends on the store and times too! Here in Canada some of our stores don't do clearance stuff really. My local No Frills does like CRAZY though, and they usually mark stuff around noon so the best time to go is about 1-2pm. By later in the evening all the clearance stuff is gone.

My Kroger affiliates don’t usually do the mark downs on weekends or holidays, so I try to shop during the week. My best time to score deals is early morning Wednesdays as the new ads start and they are trying to make room for the foods in the new ad.
