Piece of advice: Please wash your fruits a few days before and let it dry out. The fruits come in bulk and then put in bags. Cockroaches, flies, etc. lie in them when they’re in bulk. Better be safe than sorry. 😊

Girl, how come you make black cake with dates?. You didn’t put any prunes, currents or citrus fruits, also a fresh piece of orange peel is better than throwing in so much grated lime. It changes the complete taste of the cake. I hope nobody gets sick from the cranberries. I am highly allergic to it. Please no nuts or you will end up with a fruit cake instead of black cake. I mentioned it to you when you were shopping with your big Sis. My hubby is baking mine tomorrow I will send you a pic. I hope it turn out good. Girl you don’t have a month you have 18 days before Christmas. I think Syed is a very good baker. You should have let him bake it for you. The man is skilled. You must only used a couple tablespoon of the burn sugar, not much. Wish you luck. Don’t put rum only used the Hennessy and the St Remy for after baking to keep it moist after baking.
