Bless up. I man was born 75 years ago in KGN. JAMAICA been singing from the late 50s fomed the group the JAMAICANS as lead singer . Then in 1972 as RICKY STORM made my solo record THE WAY IT IS on the TOP CAT label owned by Tommy Cowan ( an original member of the JAMAICANS )

He STRONGLY speaks Jamaican LANGUAGE, but his flags and band member DOES NOT reflect Jamaica. He's singing "Africa calling," but his band doesn't reflect his music.

He is jamaican by birth. Born and raised in Kingston. He was into roots culture before it was accepted and rasta people were treated like lepers. He is as humble a rastaman as you can find. And the band is heavy as lead.
