You both look rested and beautiful as ever. Your strength, faith and perseverance prevails, but we are sending hugs and uplifting prayers because a broken heart is never viewable and Andrew is next to you always and forever. Here is to new beginnings and continued health and prosperity. Thank you for what you bring to all of us, still, around the world. Your experiences have touched tens of thousands of people and you have given so many comfort and hope in what they might be going through. I had to put down my 'crocheting' (LOL) of my granddaughter's Christening gown to type this to say thank you and wipe a few tears away....

Oh my goodness! This could just be one of the best episodes ever. Andrew would be so proud of you both. The finished sweater that Andrew was working on, the sleeves are perfect, the invisible darning of your Marie Wallin sweater, the Wing and a Prayer Farm interview, the continued interview on Bohus Stickning, and those beautiful children on the beach in Australia. I could not be prouder to be a patron.

Everyone’s comments reflect my sentiments about this fabulous episode. I just want to add a thought about Andrew’s counting coins story. Andrea, I hope you rewatch segment 10:53-11:17 and watch just Madeleine’s face. This reminds me of the significance of the stories we share about the ones we have loved and lost. I hope you both keep saying Andrew’s name and continue to share more stories with us and with each other. They are gold.

I am immediately envious of the lady from Wing and a Prayer Farm. I can see and hear her contentment from dealing with her animals. I listened to her interview two times and there is great content about life in what she says, like her passing comment about diversity. She's the kind of person you hope to be seated next to at a dinner. How interesting she is and so passionate about what she does. I'm inspired to knit with Shetland yarn. I would never know about this woman if it were not for Fruity Knitting. Good job, ladies.

Just want to agree with everything already said. I was blown away by the quality of this episode. The “angel wings” on the sweater are stunningly beautiful. You have to be happy yourself with the way they look, and I hope my name doesn’t stigmatize them, but they are beautiful on you. Madeleine has interesting things to say, and she is so honest and fresh. Thanks so much for her addition on a more regular basis. The shepherdess and the Bohus features were fascinating. And inspiring. Simba has the most resolute knitting style ever! Love to watch her intensity, she looks like a production knitter in training. Keep up the good work, this podcast is special. Thanks!!!

Oh my Andrea, the sweater Andrew almost finished is so beautiful. You must feel his love every time you wear it and at the same time, know that it looks perfect on either of you. I'm so very glad that Madeleine is still at University! That's great news indeed but yes, that's a full schedule with the podcast and presumable some time with friends too. The stories of the angora and Bohus Stickning is fascinating and I'm so happy to know that there are cruelty free ways to care for and harvest the wool from the animals. Now we know to look for these vendors rather than less careful sources. Oh my goodness, those nieces are SO adorable. It won't be long before both are knitting beautiful garments. That poncho is certainly functional already and I'm certain will last a long time. Wonderful episode. You two make an excellent team. It's nice to have Andrew remain a part of the conversation because in addition to being such a lovely man, he was a core member of the channel.

The “Easter Egg” video of Simba and her lil’ sister at the beach knitting was so sweet. Simba has obviously some serious knitting skills. Heartwarming to see Andrew’s last bring and brag. What an amazing journey he made from his first hats, scarves, socks, brioche to complicated lace. I loved the Vermont Shepherdess story plus the Bohus Stickning kal - I have my eye on the Rain Cloud jumper, but I honestly have to finish a couple of projects before I start another. Excellent episode, as always!

The way Madeleine turns to you, and quickly counters “they do not” when you claim all knitwear looks better on her said so much. You & she are a great team, & I can very well imagine Andrew is cheering & beaming with pride from ‘up above’🥰 I loved both the Shepherdess’ interview & the continuation of the Bohus Stickning story - Pernille’s passion & devotion to this historic category of knitting and learning of her Angora rabbits is somehow so satisfying. I ordered the book & will try to order the yarn before the discount ends… thanks for bringing such high quality, insightful, awesome content to this community👌🏆👍😘

What a wonderful episode. I love angora and have raised them for 35 years . I have had all 4 types. This is a fiber truly worth exploring. Angora is 8x warmer than wool and is the warmest fiber on the planet. It was used by astronauts in space because of the warmth. Some types of angora are finer than qiviut. (Satin angora is the finest @ 8 microns wheras qiviut starts at 10 microns) Angora is so wonderful it can alleviate pain. It does this by increasing blood flow that reduces inflammation. This has been known in Europe for eons but is little known elsewhere. Angora blends are very nice but it can easily be spun and used at 100% and then crocheted or woven to overcome some of the difficulties of lacking memory. 100% angora works best for projects like wrist warmers etc to alleviate pain. But it is also beautiful and lasts for years and years.

That beautiful top is amazing on both of you. I think the sleeves are just perfect. Very feminine and beautiful. The way that Andrew knit the top of the sleeves with the lace is wonderful and the way that you finished them is just the perfect lace edge. So beautiful and the color is gorgeous on both of you, with your ginger coloring. This blouse is one of the loveliest you have created, and the fact that it was started by Andrew and finished by you is all the more special. This was a great episode. You are going through a hard time, but Andrew would be so happy seeing how you both are handling this podcast together. You are doing a wonderful job. Thank you, thank you, thank you for publishing another outstanding video knitting magazine. My love of knitting would not be as deep without all the things I’ve learned through Fruity Knitting.

Great Program. The Penille Silferberg's storyies and her love of the Angora rabbits and their yarn is such an eyeopener. I had no idea that Angora yarn had such wonderful properties. Inspiring.

I am enjoying the two of you together on this episode so very much. It is packed full of so much great information and such beautiful knitting and the smiles of the two of you that fill my heart today. I am so pleased to be a patron of yours on Patreon. P.S. watching further, to hear you were not sure about the edging of the gorgeous sleeves that Andrew knit, I offer that I am totally in love with them and they look magnificent as they are!

I wanted to say Madeline's dress is stunning! It fits her lovely, young figure to a tee! And, the color in it is fantastic! You did a great job on this episode! thank you so much for information regarding Angora bunnies. I did not know that much about them. Also, I love your sleeve repair. I need to repair a blanket I knit a few years ago of 12 squares of different cable stitches. I think I knit it too loosely, and, did not anticipate our cat would love to pull at it. I am inspired by your repair work! I continue to keep both of you in my heart and prayers. I know the pain of losing a father at an early age (for Madeline and Andrew, both at early ages) as I experienced the same. I don't know the loss of loving the love of my life that Andrea has experienced, yet I watched my mom go through that loss. It is a terrific pain. You, both, will find light eventually, but emphasis is on the eventually.

It is lovely to see you both. Andrea I love the simple edging of your Top, Andrew made for you :) i normally would not like a top with arms designed like that but I love it and think it looks beautiful on you . Thank You Tammy :) for telling us about your farm :). I am crying at how beautiful the Bohus Stickning interview is, i love rabbit's and this is beautiful to see. Thank you Pernila :) Your Niece is a beautiful knitter and I love the little one copying her sister.

So Many things I want to say about this wonderful episode. Love the mittens keep them from the Dragon Fevered Mom. The finished work of Andrews is stunning. I love the scalloped lace boarder you chose and I think it looks beautiful on both of you. Andrew I am sure is loving that he can put his arms around, each of you, when you put it on. I am sure it must feel like his love is all around, but a personal hug when you wear it. I so enjoyed the first interview, I am a little ashamed to say I live in the Boston area and had never heard of Wing & A Prayer farm. But I will be heading over to the website shortly. The second interview was as they say enlightening. Beautiful history and passion for authenticity combined with sustainability and respect for the animals and the artist make this a true success story. Thank you both for being so generous and giving of yourselves. I am not at all a competent knitter but you encourage me always.

What a treasure to have the top that Andrew knit for you. Like an Andrew hug whenever you wear it. Andrea, I agree with Madeleine...you are extremely clever to do that mending without the chart! Simba is amazing with her knitting! I can't believe how young she is. Thanks for a wonderful episode!
