I love this holiday season! I've been sick or injured so much this year that I was feeling quite blah, and also stressed about making the holidays joyful for my family, but your video helped reignite the spark of excitement. I love how you were able to get simple things, but combine them with some crafting and turn them into a lovely, special experience. My trick for labels, or anything with a gluey residue, is to rub the residue with oil to unstick it, then a little soap and hot water to remove the oil, too. It works for getting glue and other similar things out of my daughter's long hair. Wishing you joy in this holiday season!

I love this holiday season. You are genius! I love all of your ideas and to say which I like the most, I just can't. I do believe it is extremely important to include all the kiddos in all that we do in the house. My children, who are grown and have blessed me with 9 grandchildren, loved Wednesdays. Wednesday was the day that I did my baking and they loved being part of every bit of the process. My blessing, my grandchildren are being taught the same thing as their parents were.

Thanks for the blow dryer trick to removing tags from things from Dollar Tree. I think they use the stickiest glue ever created. If you soak a paper towel in rubbing alcohol or vinegar and leave it on the residue for 5 minutes it usually works . WD40 also works and there is a product called Goo Gone. Your coco bar is amazing and the garland was beautiful. And seeing your girls pitch in with their artistic and helpful hands is always so cool. And yes, totally loving this holiday season

My workplace is just around the corner from a Dollar Tree in one direction and a Dollar General in the other! However, since there is also a Dollar General in the town where I live, I like to reward myself by wandering through the Dollar Tree when there are a few dollars to spare on payday or I have something specific to look for. It’s a fun place to poke around in, and they have good quality merchandise!

*mind blown* Woah wait a second we need a video just on that label trick OMG! Just using packing tape and hot water and you get a clear label like that? I always have the glass containers my candles come in leftover after the candle burns, and this would be an awesome way to use those containers for something DIY. Any type of packing tape? What an awesome trick! I have to add - my husband always goes to the dollar store and literally disappears in there for hours on end, but if you can get awesome items like those in there I might just tag along with him sometime.

Incredible! I put a glass jar of marshmallows next to the Kurig machine and it a day. I think I'll take a trip to the dollar store and see if I can duplicate this. Shalom Sara for labels on jars or stickers generally I just soak them in hot soapy water…if that doesn’t work I’ll add some dishwasher soap into the hot water..hope this helps..that’s amazing tip with the packing tape ❤ Great Job Leah!❤ yes always involve the kids it makes them feel part of the celebration and build a memories. I LOVE this Holiday season! I’m so glad you are back! This video was chock full of helpful information and tips! I have been using Undu and Goo Gone and other strong chemicals to remove labels. I never thought to use my hair dryer - but will now. I love all the money saving and beautiful tips for a hot cocoa bar and to label containers! We love hot cocoa at the holidays and I will look for some of the toppings you have found. I found peppermint flavored marshmallows that we will use. They are labeled Kosher/Pareve. I don't have kids. But I love getting my nieces and nephews ,involved in holiday prep. Especially the youngest I just taught her how to tape presents . I love seeing their faces light up ,when they help.

I LOVE this holiday season! I am always so happy that my mother and grandmother included me in a lot of preparation work. I learned a lot of skills early and I don't doubt it's why I am so comfortable now! I was able to reverse engineer a special family sticky rice recipe (my late aunt gave it to my mom, and when my mom passed away I only remembered parts of it!) with the help of similar recipes, photos I'd taken of it, my memories, and my father's memories. It was something so very special to serve and everyone I shared it with declared it delicious. What a beautiful cocoa bar. These are the memories that last a lifetime! I like to use heat on those sticky labels for things I don't necessarily want to put goo gone on (like drinkware) and I love to scrub off the sticky goop with a little dish soap and Scrub Mommy!

I love our channel, and feel so connected with you as your go through your activities. As far as removing the labels, I would soak them in hot water for about 10-15 minutes and they remove fine. Probably the same as using the heat gun like you use :) Love the idea of the Cocoa Bar
