Ed, I love it, and I love the passion you have for start-ups. Being a first-time founder is hard because you are so lost in the sauce regarding investors and what they want to see. However, you should always know what you are solving for. Who your customers are and what they want/need.

I completely agree. Understanding the details and effectively communicating them is an art form. Mom test everything and you will still be short. This has been very informative for us.

Wait... 50% isn't diagnosed, and they're offering monitors? Aren't monitors useful for those who HAVE been diagnosed? Why would someone who's undiagnosed get something like this? They don't know that they have diabetes...

It is confusing and thank you for pointing that out. I thought maybe we could have an app that could offer plans to help upfront create a plan to manage it before a monitor is required? The founders need to decide for sure.

Clearly, we didn't communicate what we do on that deck. It's our first version and it showed. Yes you are right, monitors are primarily for diagnosed patients. For undiagnosed individuals, we focus on early detection and prevention through screening and educational tools. We offer screening services to identify diabetes early and provide preventive education to reduce the risk of developing diabetes.
