You have have lots of bakes from this recipe. feel free to make them smaller than mines.
Recipe
3 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar
4 tablespoons of cold butter from the fridge
About 1 cup of water from tha tap
Fry Bakes goes well with the following:

Nice. When I make this I use hand mixer to make the dough, I make sure my dough is sticky(soft) and the bakes come out soft

Where I’m from, we call it“ fry bread.” You can drizzle honey or powdered sugar. I like mine with pinto beans and salted pork. 🤤 Thank you for sharing. 🙂

@@samsgiftedhands3998 we call it "Indian" fry bread because not just Navajos make it. It's made by most indigenous tribes in the Southwest. ☺️

I tried this but will have to try again with adjustments. Maybe ¾ tsp salt, ½ as baking powder and butter (unsalted) . Thank you for recipe.

Goodmorning from Holland. I forgot to ask you about the Butter. Since the Butter is cold from the Fridge, how do you measure 4 tbl spoons?? Or can you give me the measurement in grams???❤❤❤

The butter I used is soft, I had kept it in the fridge and measured it from there. It is 56.7 grams.

@ColeAlbury no, you can fry right away if you want, but it's best to rest for a softer bakes.

there are different types of bakes, what you're thinking of are called floats... they're prepared in such a way and with slightly different ingredients to allow for the hallow fluffy texture.

If you want it to have less dough you have to roll it out very flat then the inside will puff so you can stuff. That's the secret. Some people like them heavy it's a preference.
