Have you been Brook Trout fishing Will ? That's a super way to learn how to set on light bites. They "nibble" quite a bit before biting. You have to use super light line, like 4 lb test maximum. It's how I grew up learning how to fish in central Mass in the 1980's. Brook Trout fishing can teach you quite a lot. It's also excellent eating.

We’ve been RV nomads for 7 years now and 2 years ago we rolled into New Mexico, and love it. I love the Native American cuisine and have learned to make fry bread. One thing I DONT like is Mexican food smothered in red or green chili sauce that you find everywhere here. I grew up in Louisiana not only on Cajun/Creole but also Tex/Mex. The Mexican food here just can’t compare with that! Thanks for another awesome video Chef!

Just an idea Will, but I live 3 miles away from one of the oldest National Fisheries still operating in the USA. The Nashua NH Fishery. Established in 1898. They breed and distribute several types of Salmon and Trout throughout New England. Might be a fun intro video for you someday prior to Salmon or Trout fishing. They definitely do tours and all of that.

Absolute banger of an episode, Will. Fish tacos have to be one of my favorite things, and now I gotta try them with some nice light fry bread. That salsa looked absolutely incredible after going that long in the smoker. Glad we got Mama Clams input aswell! Cheers

Shinnecock...East Coast tribe. An ancestor married a lady from a tribe that disappeared off the coast of Virginia in the 1700's. I've heard Choctaw, and another I can't think of right now. Shinnecock sounds familiar. You had so many interesting aspects in this video Will. I very much enjoyed it. Zucchini blossoms...never knew that. Looked so beautiful on a lovely and made me hungry dish! Hello to Mama Clams, a genuine treasure. Have a great week you two!

Quick tip . When you are doing fish in a common man's vacuum sealer...😂 fold a paper towel to fit in the top of the bag and seal it in.. the water will hit the towel and not where it seals the bag!

Great video Will! You had so much in this one, it’s hard to remember it all. Not something I make very often, but I did recently on a trip to BC with wild caught chinook & halibut with a mango salsa. Definitely something I’d try again, but then again, I will likely try to smoke my salsa. That taco looked so delicious. Thanks for bringing us Mama Clams! Thanks for sharing!!!

It's nice to see this style of food preservation. Vacuum packing works well to preserve food from space vacuum 0" Hg back to NY 30.05 " Hg. Make sure you get a good heat seal on the bag. That fish will last a long time. Sift the all-purpose flour to get lighter cake/bread and use some honey. Mason Jar? That sounds dangerous. Enjoyed the unique culture in all the latest videos. Keep on catching.

Thanks for the video Will. I love Indian culture. They figured things out way before we got here. One of my "bucket list" items is to try the "real" DMT toad venom. It amazes me that Indians were doing this for thousands of years to peek into "the other side". It truly fascinates me, and I want to try it and see for myself.

To elaborate further on the History of fry bread, it became a staple because of the removal of Natives from their homelands, and the Europeans starving them. If you ever go to The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow, the Navajo Hatch Green chile burgers on Navajo fry bread os amazing, as well as their fry bread with their mutton soup. 😋😋😋 Anything with fry bread is good.
