BMW really knocked it out of the park with the release of the 2023 BMW M1000R, this Blackstorm metallic color is a stunning machine in person! This gorgeous M1000R was purchased new from Cycle Werks BMW in Chicago, the owner moved to the Seattle area soon after. They had the initial service performed by BMW Motorcycles of Seattle in July 2023. While there they installed BMW group radiator and oil cooler guards. We can find no issues, marks, dings, or any signs of abuse on this one. These were very limited production bikes and most shops never had one in for sale. Come take a look in person if you can, you will be very impressed. The carbon fiber is one of the best quality we have seen, wheels are also carbon. This one was equipped with BMW factory upgrades like the M Competition package which included the M Billet package, M Carbon package, M Carbon wheels, and the pillion seat package. Along with those items, the M Titanium Exhaust system was also added!

There is a simmering arms race in the Super Naked category, and the 2023 BMW M 1000 R is the newest piece of high-tech weaponry to enter the battlefield. Armed with the latest-generation ShiftCam-equipped inline-4 from the S 1000 RR superbike, along with its updated electronic aids, the M 1000 R has ascended to the exclusive 200 horsepower club and now breathes the same rarified air as the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR moto-missiles.
The BMW S 1000 R has always been an impressive motorcycle in the streetfighter segment. However, in recent years, it has been on the back foot against rivals like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100, and the Bavarian giant finally has an answer - the BMW M 1000 R.
The company has type-approved the M 1000 R in Europe and the documents reveal a lot of upgrades over the existing S 1000 R-the most important one being its 207 horsepower output! The M 1000 R will go on sale alongside the S 1000 R, similar to the M 1000 RR and the S 1000 RR. Unlike the faired duo, however, the M 1000 R is on a completely different level than the S, credit to its engine. According to the documents, the new M-badged naked will feature a 999cc, inline-four engine that churns out 207 horsepower, similar to the recently type-approved 2023 S 1000 RR.} Remarkably, this is over 40 horsepower (!) more than the existing S 1000 R, and it even pips the world’s most powerful naked motorcycle, the Ducati Streetfighter V4, by one horsepower.
BMW has also played with the engine tune as the peak power and peak torque arrive later in the rev range. This, coupled with the lower gearing, should ensure a totally different riding experience. Oh, and as a result, the M 1000 R will max out at 174mph, 16mph more than the S 1000. Besides the engine, the M 1000 R is wider and taller than its less fancy sibling, in addition to boasting a 20mm longer wheelbase. Also, the rear wheel size has also gone up to 200-section from the S 1000 R’s 190-section. Other notable features include a quick shifter, adjustable suspension, and a comprehensive electronics package that includes multiple riding modes, brake assist, hill start control and traction control settings.
