8:25 Oh my lord, I get an anxiety attack just from watching this!!! 😂😂 How the hell can they dance like this and be so well trained together that they dare to turn their back to the other and just trust he will come with the axe in the right moment?! :D Wow, my biggest respect to these guys! And for the odzemek dancers in general. Such a dangerous dance if you don't do everything exactly right, at least that's always my impression! One wrong move and your leg's gone... Or more😅 Only one question: why does the title say goralské dance? What's that? I though odzemek was Czech (czech walachia)? Can anybody explain? :) I'm fascinated by Czech and Slovak culture and still need and want to learn so much :) Greets from Germany! edit: the dance the guy dances at 12:32 is Slovak and not Czech, isn't it? Or does that dance also exist in Czech culture like that?

Gorals are an ethnic group found in the area around Czech, Slovak and Polish borders. And they do odzemek as well. Odzemek is the name for a male solo dance, which includes squatting and jumping and is performed in a lot of regions, not just in Wallachia.
