They are one of the only type of sirens in East Texas. They're heard in a lower tone when further away from them.

I live in England and earthquakes are rare so we dont have sirens if there was an emergency alert it would be a text message or notification depending on what phone you have

That aint an earthquake siren, it is for almost always used for tornadoes/severe weather.

What is Hi-lo and Pulse tones used for? And why didnt the siren wind up at 0:26-0:27?

I don't actually know what hi-lo and pulse are used for. and it's programmed on the controller to not windup

@@JASirens hi-lo is used for fire and either both or just pulse would be for chemical spill alerts.

Not all sirens are the same but mostly they’re Modulator 6024B. Probably the same controller.
