FS17 Timelapse, Dowland Farm Seasons #18: Stockpiling The Money!

In today's Farming Simulator 17 time lapse video, which is set on the Dowland Farm Seasons map, based in Yorkshire in England-
More silage bales today, mainly because we're getting further and further into debt, so we need to take some drastic action to try and cut the overdraft and repay some loans. We'll sell a few items, that will put us back in the black for now, then in the winter hopefully we'll have plenty of cash pouring in!

This map starts with a small number of cows, or at least it used to, after they gave me this version the map creators made additional changes before releasing it. But my version started with cows and bales for the first few months of play (it's seasons ready and they designed it to run with seasons), as well as the three Valtra tractors and a few implements

Louise Green the tractor has a rear driving steering wheel so it's much easier

If you use the rear drive and join the mowers together like that, when you turn sharp corners you don't miss little bits between the mowers, you also have improved visibility when doing it like that in real life

I do not recomend the krone ultima beacuse you cant stick the balespike in it from alsides only 1 side

skogens tjänster agreed! On the other hand 1.5m round bales (6000lit) are possible. If you bailing/wrapping for profit its a good investment!

If you planning to leave the map in a few episodes, make a production area (sheds, barns, compost, feeder mixers) in the narrow field close to cows, just a suggestion... Keep up the good work 👏 👏 👏

i don't think you understand one thing, making one timelapse takes about 4 hours of recording, then a lot of editing.

Why can't I combine my mowers like you do? Am I missing a mod or am I just stupid? THey are the same mowers you have and I can see the ports to combine them. but it doesn't work for some reason. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Have you got them the right way round? You've got to unhitch the butterfly mowers and hitch them on backwards, then the side that was attached to the tractor (when you go forwards) is the side you attach to the front mower.

It's the KZbin compression unfortunately, when I view it back on my PC it's crystal clear

The editing process could also have something to do with that. There is usually a bit of quality loss after editing.

One thing I found when making my own videos, is that pixels can be lost while speeding footage up, as it is harder to handle compression and higher bitrates with super fast footage. It's the nature of digital media...
