cows can have youth (obviously they don't animate "the action") but they just spawn it already fully grown. But I know what you mean. Having little cute calves running around by their mothers! ;-)

It is a plastic cover that goes over top of the silage usually with tires on it for wait to keep oxygen out so the silage will ferment and so it does not rot. I am a 12 year old dairy farmer

Blanket is to seal in moisture and cause fermentation. Put a back blade on your 9R, or at least a weight bro. Leveling blade to push back in what you roll out, and weight to increase compaction.

They tarp is to keep from having a lot of crust and help fermentation. You do not have to always tarp it where I live but if you don’t the top 3-4 feet will crust and cattle won’t eat it very well.
