They're certainly good enough for flight simulation although I did notice at 04:53, the SID DET 2F 2G 1J 1K chart is dated October 2021, so if truly authentic simming is one's game then these charts may not be as good as at first they seem. Definitely worth a punt though. I'm in for a couple of quid a month - when I can get MSFS back up and running!

These days, Navigraph is integrated into the avionics suite of some aircraft. I’m happy to pay the sub. Thanks for letting us know of this alternative though.

I looked at ChartFox, and with me being based in Canada, Canadian airports were the first things I searched. However, it doesn't seem to have ANY Canadian airports!

Ive taken out a month of navigraph primarily for the updated airac in the sim and in simbrief. Its a really nice tool but i cant see myself renewing as chartfox does the job well enough for charts. Ill probably just sub every couple of months to update the airac

Awesome! Will this work for the Xbox? I’m really hoping for ATC with either Vatsim or somewhere else. It’s also lame that I can get the Xbox to pair or link up with the “moving map”. When is this going to change for Xbox?

You can get Sids/Stars/Approach info for the Xbox using Chartfox. Hopefully an App with a moving Map will come to the Xbox at some point.

There is no current addon/plug in software that is compatible with XBOX due to Microsoft limitations

I use the Xbox series X. Are there any programs that work on the Xbox? Don't feel that any utility is compatible with the X-box. While that gives an extra dimension to Flight Simulator 2020.

The charts and info of Chartfox, are compatible with the Xbox version of MSFS. I don't know of any external programs that fully interact (in any other way) with MSFS currently.

Looks really cool, but unless it can update the data for the aircraft FMC it's a non starter for Vatsim. Seems good for taxiing though!

They are separate programs: I have littlenavmap opened in its own window - same with Chartfox. Then I just simply use my mouse to switch between them.

@@Huddison I agree with David.Many Canadian airports are not included.No surprise as Canada is excluded in regards to getting upgraded in the sim.My airport in London Ontario (Cyxu), a city of 400,00, is not represented n Chartfox. Disappointed.

I was never sold on Navigraph as found the Sids very complicated on Navigraph and NOT user friendly... So think will cancel it and donate to Chart Fox...I think you hit the nail on the Head it is expensive these days and since any problems on Vatsim re SIDS given to me, its Chart Fox that AT have sent me.. I would have loved to keep Navigraph but never could get the Tube station type routes to work....Could be me. Actually Huddison thinking on it...... when I have been doing Vatsim training while flying, its always Little Nav maps I went to rather than Navigraph....As I said might be me but I found Navigraph routes over complicated to plan and they never seemed to work properly, but to be fair I only took on Navigraph at the same time as Vatsim so both require a fair bit of time to be comfortable with....Many thanks Huddison.

@@Huddison Thank you Huddison For me it was not really a money thing...It was just I found Navigraph cumbersome and on the Cessna 310 it never followed their route.. Getting the London Tube station type Sids to connect to the route was for me a chore and frustrating at times -as I just wanted to get on with Vatsim. I have donated to Chartfox so will try it out if I find it falls short of Navigraph I can always re do the payment.

@@Vonobox1 One good thing about Chartfox is that simply by typing in an ICAO code, all the charts are right there at your finger tips. It's a small enterprise, so not every single airport is covered (I believe), but I find it quite impressive.

I do not think that you HAVE to fly online to use either ChartFox or LittleNavmap. In fact, I'm certain of it with ChartFox. I created a Vatsim account to use ChartFox even though (like you) I have zero interest in flying online. Not sure about Little Navmap, though....I just now learned about it thanks to Huddison's vid here!

@@ghostlyfriend2526 They can't be integrated directly with each other: Chartfox lets you look at static charts, with or without Littlenavmap; LNM enables you to flight plan or use it as a navigational moving map. Perhaps I should said ' they can be used in combination with each other' to clarify.
