The family of Babool tree is very large and from place to place the shape , size and look varies. The same is also known as Kikar in some place . But broadly all varieties come under Acacia auriculiformis, family name Leguminosae ( Fabaceae).

This doesn't prove it is pure, it's the moisture content...even the pure honey with moisture content above 21 is a little less dense....and honey mixed with sugar syrup will also settle at the bottom
