I clicked this video not expecting much, with the billions of videos of flight sim pilots out there, often copying eachother. This video however was so genuine, provided real life experience points and examples when these tips could be useful. No unnecessary chatter, straight to the point! Kudos to you for that.

Great tips straight from real-world use. Also, let's appreciate the fact that this sim model actually does simulate all of those things. That's the level of detail present in the product. Learned a few new things today. Well done, sir. Liked, subscribed.

Having experienced commercial pilots share their real world knowledge with e-pilots is fantastic stuff. It must be said the level of detail in today's simulated systems is just mind blowing compared to 15-20 years ago. Thanks for this video. Subbed.

Nicely done mate , i would also add something about landing light as they increase fuel consumption by 1% per each landing light extended ( found it in MEL) keep going friend 😊

Awesome video! Just a question about "Photon Brakes"... Don't they have deployment speed limit? Thanks for the good work!
@fsclips
@fsclips 2 күн бұрын
No. According to Airbus there is no speed limit, but be aware that above 280kts they are noisy buggers and vibrate quite a lot

Thank you. Is the anti-ice ”on” raising engine idle speed on ground in the sim?
@fsclips
@fsclips 9 күн бұрын
Yes. I discussed this in the A319 video because on the IAE engines the ground idle is quite high and this can cause hot brakes. Hope this helps

Not much of this works on the ToLiss a321 in X-Plane 11, unfortunately - which really sucks, these MCDU tips could’ve saved me so many headaches 😔 The only MCDU feature that works is the GPS altitude in the ToLiss a321 . In the real world are these options that the airline can buy for the MCDU, are they only available on the a320 and not the 19 or 21? Or could it just be ToLiss not choosing to implement these features in their a321?
@fsclips
@fsclips 7 күн бұрын
We have them in all aircraft. There are indeed certain things that are optional but everything we discuss here in this video should be standard in all A320 series aircraft.
@theears995
@theears995 7 күн бұрын
@@fsclips that’s very strange that ToLiss didn’t implement it 🤔

ett must be digited in 24 hours mode or 12 mode?
@fsclips

On the Bus I have never seen am or pm. At least here in Europe all the planes I have seen work with 24 hrs mode. All times are in UTC though. Hope this helps
