They are building new bridges and adding two new tunnels at the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel, but it is one of those forever projects so who knows when it will get done.

@danielseelye6005 the original caps were like that. I developed a habit of putting the cap on the tank support. When I replaced the caps, I took the stop off on the drivers side. Same as it was.

I live in Hampton. They’re boring 2 more tunnels under Hampton Roads on I-64. Much construction on the approach. Also widening I-64 between Richmond and Williamsburg. The tunnel is always a crapshoot for traffic. I always call 511 to see how bad it will be, especially when heading to Norfolk airport.

There's a C5 that flies over my house every month or so. A few years ago, I spread my arms and dipped side to side to say hello I see you... and they returned the favor. How cool that was. They usually do two passes before heading back to the air strip. 🤘
