Great example of challenging situation. Thank you! If you have busy unprotected lefts on your routes, that would be helpful to see too.

Does your Tesla have HW3 or HW4? Do you think HW4 makes a difference with FSD V12?

Can't wait until the Tesla can read hand signs from other drivers telling you that you can go
@danielcdeyoung5 ай бұрын
That will be very valuable. And hand signs from police officers directing traffic, and a stop light being out turning it into a 4 way stop. So many edge cases. But AI makes that all seem possible.

Amazing... can anyone, someone please ask Ashok or FSD team to add FSD voice intent. eg., "waiting for clearance", "inching forward for visibility, " proceeding through" Once it says, "proceeding through" the car goes. This will add a huge level of comfort to FSD users and lead to less disengagements. Please anyone with contact tell ASHOK DIRECTLY

@@oisiaa Oh, I see from the other comments that this was a Tesla, self driving. I thought this was some dude with a new licence who had never crossed an intersection before. It would have been helpful to mention that in the video title. I mean, what normal person knows what "FSD T12" means.

FSD v12 is a new architecture that uses "nothing but nets". The car should perform less mechanically and robotically and more human-like once it gets this update.

i'd love to see Dan O'Dowd 's software do that cross street, oh wait, he can't, because he hates tesla
@larsnystrom66985 ай бұрын
It eventually did what it should, but not immediatly. It shouldn't have waited where it couldn't see the crossing trafic. So, not yet perfect, I think. Although the video didn't show enough to really judge why it didn't move forward. Maybe it had a reason for that other than slow thinking.

@oisiaa5 ай бұрын
Yes, under the supervision of someone motivated not to crash their personal vehicle.
@somethingsomethingsomethingdar5 ай бұрын
@@oisiaa have you ever met anyone motivated to wreck their car? Untested technology should not be put on the road until it is safe. Say the Tesla decided you got it and he wasn’t able to react or reacted in the wrong way and someone gets killed who’s to blame? Did WE sign up for the risk? Nope. I want this technology to take hold and to be used. But beta testing self driving cars on the road is morally wrong. If there is ANY question as to the safety of this system it needs to be tested in an environment where all parties have assumed the risk involved.
