Making my van as rattle- free as possible has been my number 1 priority since buying the van. here are my 14 most effective rattle- elimination fixes:

Great Video! Used all your tips and fixed most of my rattles. In addition I used electrical tape to hold down the pantry clips and set the shelves on top with double sided tape which really locked them down. My table was squeeking and putting packing tape around the ends of the post cured that. Also there was a big wire connector bouncing around under the garage heater which i stuffed some foam under.

😂 Finally someone who feels like I do when it comes to rattling and squeaking … I have a Winnebago Solis and I’m on a constant hunt. The last thing I’m chasing after is some annoying squeaking from the roof AC unit … wish me luck. German engineering skills will find a fix. 😂

So I pulled the cover where the rear heater is to check to see if mine rattles so I decided to look further and pull all the drawers out and the vents on the kitchen galley, what a mess that is under there I found the safety cable for the fridge was rattling against the back wall, the connections for the sink faucet hoses were banging around against the wood, the hoses were also hitting stews too long coming thru the wood, wires that looked like a ball of spaghetti back by the heater and 2 relays just rattling against the bottom of the pantry and not even pushed into the socket all the way. Also the main line for the heater that comes thru the floor was chafed from riding the cabinet wood. I spent over 2 hours putting split loom and zip tying everything and using foam spacers to keep lines from sharp edges. What a joke for the price we pay for these things.

yes, I couldn't agree more. I also spent a few hours cleaning up things and doing preventive maintenance under the kitchen cabinet (a bit of that is included in an upcoming video) - but I really enjoy this type of work so I'm almost thankful Winnebago provided me with this challenge 😀

We switched out the window covers with vanmadegear soft insulated covers. It made a HUGE improvement with reducing rattles and with keeping the van cooler in hot weather. I'm gonna try all the rest of your suggestions.

I'm not sure if you're German, but if you are, it makes sense you would be bothered by rattles...and since I'm of German descent, the reason I like this video. 😂

I had some strange rattles and squeaks and I found all the screws loose under the plastic caps around the shower and pantry

Ok so now you have me on this rattle hunt so I had the wife drive the van while I sat in the garage and rear doors rattle like crazy came Home adjusted them and it made the biggest difference

Also I forgot to mention, if you carry eggs in the fridge on the door the little metal bar to hold them in rattles against the shells on certain roads I used a piece of surgical tube cut to length put a slit down it and covered that bar.

Thanks for the tips! Any solution for the front seats? I assume the 180° turning feature is why I get a constant creaking while driving.
