FSL is basically just ASL, with some few modifications. Ni walang differentiation ng "ng" tsaka "ñ" na nasa Modernong Alpabetong Pilipino

Filipino Sign Language is a form of visual and manual communication that has its own linguistic features distinct from other sign languages. It is the natural language of communication preferred and used by majority of the Filipino Deaf. It is culture-based, and has uniquely evolved from the Filipino Deaf community. Although Filipino Sign Language (FSL) is influenced by American Sign Language (ASL), its structure has evolved significantly enough for it to be recognized as a distinct visual language that is apart from ASL (Martinez, 2012). If you look at 2 people signing FSL and ASL side by side you will notice a huge difference in terms of facial expressions, structure, and vocabulary.
