FTDX10 has better AGC. IC7300 has better++ Scope and User interface. Both good.

I like both, but for different reasons. They have similar performance and cost, but they are completely different radios to operate. The 7300 has a better UI and it's performance is more balanced - it's good at everything! The DX10 by comparison has more ups and downs, but when set up correctly it can offer a little SSB "magic" that the 7300 cannot match. I prefer the DX10 for SSB, and the 7300 for DATA modes and portable/static mobile.

No differences, only in laboratory. I've got FTdx101d and Icom 7610 and no differences even in very crowded constests. Sound in 7610 is slightly better than 7300 and ftdx101d, with more bass, smooth and clear.

Hi, i used them both, its not true as most said that yaesu ft dx 10 hears better than icom 7300. I used them on very weak signals, none hears better, both same sensitivity! Yeasu ft dx 10 has more option as the external monitor which is the most important! Who wants to spent more yaesu ft dx 10 is a better solution. But icom 7300 for 1080euro brand new its a perfect option! If use with external speaker icom sp38

Thank you for your appropriate comments. I agree with you. For CW man, it is easy to operate with FTDX10's filter and APF, and low noise flow makes it easy to listen. However, as you can see from the receiver evaluation site, the IC-7300 is actually more sensitive. The IC-7300 has high cost performance in terms of price. I think that the performance of SDR transceivers using FPGAs will be basically the same, so it will be interesting to see the trend of transceivers in the future.

There is no comparison; the FTDX10 is better. So much more capable of dealing with noise as well. The DNR is just straight 🔥

Hi, i used them both, yaesu ft dx 10 on same signal comparing with icom 7300 the s_metter its 3 s units below icom 7300, same signal, same antena and for this reason gives a false ideea its quiet in receive. I did compare both on a very weak signals multiple times, both hears same,none of them better

Yes, I also feel that there is no essential difference between the two machines, because the FPGA is almost the same.

個人的見解　ほぼ同じだと思うがIC7300のほうがメリハリがあって聞きやすい　蛇足だがICOMのマイクコネクタ8Pの従来タイプで手堅い　FTDX10はなんでモジュラータイプなんだろう　とても残念。

そうですね、私はモジュラーMJ-8(オス)から8P(メス)への変換ケーブルを自作しました、モジュラーの圧着工具が必要ですがそんなに難しくはありません。ケンウッドのマイクを使えます。

Before making this comment i have read and whached all videos also comments of other OM. My conclison is, there is no difference in Signal, voice and noice level. So why paying aroun 400 Euro more for FTDX10? Is roofing filter that expencive? most important, the settings menus are confusing and nerve-wracking! this is where all owners or users pretty much come together. it may be that the roofing filter is better with overcrowded frequencies (at contests) because the reception is narrower, but we don't just do contests!

固定局持ってないけど、ftdx10を50w機で買うのはもったいない気がして悩む。 ic7300はきにならないんだけど、なんでだろう。 電波使用量数百円だし、固定局作ろうかな。。。

FTDX10もIC7300も基本的性能はほぼ同じです、大きく違うのはダイナミックレンジがFTDX10の方が優れているということで特に通信品質に大きなこだわりがなければ7300で十分ですが私はCWメインなのでDX10を使います。固定局を持つなら思い切って200Wにしましょう。(ライセンスが許せば)

Yes, they both hear a strong signal. So what's the point? My Sony short wave receiver could hear the same loud signals. Big Deal . ZZZZZZZZZZ
