It's time for part 2 of the annual 'First Time Fishing' Subscribers Charity Match 2023 at Tunnel Barn Farm, all in aid of 'Birmingham Children's Hospital Charities'.
This video is all about you guys! The Subscribers!
Big Bird and 'FTF' Pro Angler, Grant Merrett, walk around the pools to get the insight into each subscribers peg, where they've travelled from and to hear about how they are going to catch fish.
From Seasoned Match Anglers, to First Timers... they all come together on this fantastic day, for charity at the magical Tunnel Barn Farm.
Message from Big Bird - "I'm so grateful to every single Angler that helped to support the day and made the journey for this fantastic cause. I was completely overwhelmed by the kindness, support and made many friends throughout the day. You will genuinely never know what it means to me!

Just finished both parts, looked like it was an amazing day. Gutted I could not make it in the end. Great to see such charitable support from the fishing community, I tip my hat to you BB for being the heart of that community and arranging it all. Well done to everyone involved, I’m now off to buy my ticket for next year!

It was a fantastic day to be part of, was organised brilliantly, BB and Grant were on hand with any advice or guidance/help if needed and best of all it raised some cash for a much loved, muchly needed hospital. I am glad I was part of it and will be there at next year's and any others for as long as I physically can. Thanks BB your a superstar.

Brilliant Stewart! Was great to see the family there too! You had a dodgy peg there! I may have to investigate why it’s so hard to catch fish on that peg 🤷🏻‍♂️ BB

@@FirstTimeFishing luck of the day isn't it. We all loved being there and part of it and for sure will be there next year. I would be intrigued to know if that peg is the same if fished when nobody else is on the lake or if it's just a pressure thing. You watch I will draw the same bugger next year 🤣🤣

BB since I fished the match I have started fishing my local club matches and loving every minute. Got an evening match tomorrow and enjoying the banter with the lads I have met. Big shout out to the two lads I fished with on the day Charlie and Leigh for their company on the day. And a really big shout out to you and your team on the day. See you next year mate. @@FirstTimeFishing Grant was amazing BB and gave me the confidence to go down the edge earlier than I would and I would have gone down my left edge as well. Grant said right edge would be better. His watercraft was on point. Oh! Came third on local match last night won £10😂
