"naught" is found in a 1613, 1621 and 1631. Also that was the reading in the Bishops and the Geneva. There is a 1634 London printing with "nought" in Luke 23:11 A 1612, 1613, 1628 and 1635 had the reading "he" in Jeremiah 34:16. The "not" in Matthew 12:23 is in a 1615. I believe Arch. A b 18 was edited from a copy different from the 1611. That is why it doesn't have a change there. I didn't check any others. Thanks again for the nice lesson.

In the National KJB I use, a copy of the 1966 printing, in Jer. 34:16, it has the word "he." In the Collins World KJB, I also use, in Jer. 34:16 it has "ye" instead of "he." My Collins World was printed late '70's, early 80's. I like and prefer the British spellings, such as "Saviour" instead of "Savior." Seven is the number of God, isn't it? And I do remember the similarities being pointed out to me regarding Gen. 1:1 and Rev. 22:21. I found the equalities or similarities of these two verses amazing. That's all I can say about that.

Hope you don't mind that this comment has to do with your recent podcast with Hayes. I havent listened to #240 yet. So, Appreciated you calming down the words Joel used to describe what was done to Job 4:6. He said, "...the reading is significantly different," and as far as the "reordering" of Job 4:6, Joel said it, "...totally affected the reading of that verse." It seemed to me you were careful with the word you used to describe what was done on Job 4:6. You said Job 4:6 was "edited." I am referring to the last 5-6 minutes of the podcast. I'm just one person here, but I appreciate what seems to me to be taking some care about wording. At least to me, this matter about the KJB, the editing and the editions and all that, has to be handled very carefully, and I know you are more than aware of that.
