FTII-Foundation course course in acting with Chandar Khanna

Mr. Chandar Khanna is a veteran actor in the Hindi Film industry. His career spans 43 years, over the course of which he has done more than 1500 theater shows, 50 plus feature films, innumerable ads and Television shows. In 2017 he was the Director of Foundation Course in Acting by FTII. He also took acting classes at Roshan Taneja School of Acting for four years, training aspiring actors in Improvisations, Movement, Memory system, Concentration exercises and Word Repetition. Having graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Chandar Khanna is currently engaged in performing solo shows of a poetic rendition of the Mahabharath called Jaydrath Vadh.

People who are accusing this guy for not doing great acting, probably are the people who has become so used to indian cinema or Indian theatre.. That's why foreign webseries are gaining popularity here. Because of natural acting.. The good thing is the guy is not exaggerating any thing. He is just acting as a helpless son trying to convince his father. Which is fabulous.. 👏👏

Theres a lot of inhibition bruhh ! I guess they are doing an exercise of improvisation if it's not the case then either the Lines were not rehearsed properly or may be he is nervous !! Which is why his character portrayal looks a bit unnatural !!however the senior artist is confident he's responding with correct portrayal of lines even his improvisations looks natural !that's experience !! The young guy just needs work on it that's it he will eventually do better !! Secondly !! Foreign webseries are gaining popularity cuz it connects to us even our own sacred games ! Acting is story telling and ultimately it needs to be told to the audience !! If they couldn't connect of course they will criticize however actor should take it sportingly and work on the flaws !

It’s a 19 minutes scene. No drama at all. It’s a monotonous scene. Only bla bla bla.... dialogues after dialogues....acting or convincing approach is faaaaar away from both actors. If this is what’s taught in famous FTII, people will prefer to keep away from it.
