Ah I'm glad you liked this one better! Re: the meaning: they've talked about it being inspired by their struggle for creative freedom. They started out very young as idols (aged 14-17), with songs that were chosen for them by their agency and in a genre they didn't like. It took 8 years of fighting their label before they were able to start releasing their own music consistently in Korea (a little quicker in Japan), and given that harder rock isn't popular in SK they had a few wobbles even after that, with the label trying to get them to go back to a more commercial sound. The frontman has compared trying to release hard rock consistently to playing roulette, which got replaced by the dice metaphor in the lyrics later on, but I think that's the "we made up our minds to do this stupid and difficult thing and this time we're going to stick with it" idea comes from lol.

(If you do end up wanting to check them out their live performances are usually much better than the recordings--any of Out of Love, The Night, 원해, Fade Out, Nowhere or Broken if you like drama; Sage, Aqua or Falling Star or if you want something happier-sounding!)

I'm glad to hear that they didn't stop fighting for having their own sound! That's how it should be, not something commercial just to earn money, that's how they lose their soul as artists 🥹 I will check out more in time! Only hearing 2 songs and loving them are a good sign that I will like their music 🥰
