I never cared about Korean band or music before since all I see is a bunch of boys or girls sing and dance together. I barely could tell one group from the other. Rain is the only Korean singer I know and listen to, but then Hongki and FT Island happened. Hongki is a great singer, FT Island is awesome. They play instruments, they sing, they compose good music. No offense to other fan groups, but FT Island is what I call a real band. I hope they can be as big as Bon Jovi, Metallic, Nirvana....you name it. They are very talented. FT Island.....keep rocking!!!!

Yeah...i agree.....from what ive heard about them they dont get much support from their company for doing this sound...i was like "wtf is wrong with them" this is the real talents....if they support this guys ...who knows they can manage to get a cover for rolling stone..or be part of...rock hall of fame or something..

Agreed!!! They take their music seriously and stick with what they love. They can even write damn amazing music like this. Ill recommend you another band. It's called CNblue. Same genre. They are basically the same as FT Island. Check them out! I think they are more pop-rock then rock but really CHECK THEM OUT! I love FT Island and CNblue. Real bands. There are alot more "real" bands out there too. You just gotta look hard.

No still the same company. Actually their Japanese songs is this style but in Korea their company didnt allow it until now. thats why i wish they r more popular like those dancing groups so pple can really appreciate their real color. This is their real face. I was by their concert in NY and it was an amazing experience. I love all their music. No matter the style. Hongki voice blew us away . Yea bec korea is attracted more to pop ballads not hard Rock like in Japan so the company wanted to please the audience. Exactly how i feel... And I'm bit dissapointed with some people who called theirselves primadonna, but dont put afford to ftisland.. I'm so mad right now. Look at their facebook fanpage, its over 2 millions people liked their page and line almost 5. I mean, where are these people??? And honestly, i just become primadonna because i'm attached with how genuine hongki in we got married. But, when i start to know them better, without i know i already fall in love with them. Listen to their Japan releases. They've been doing music like this for awhile now. They've long shed the idol band image in Japan but because of the company restriction, they couldn't show such colors in Korea. After fighting for nine years to release songs like this in Korea, they have finally done it. This album "I WILL" is their first child. The REAL music they want to do :)

As expected, Hongki's voice conveys the message and emotion through the song. But i have never imagine the group to bring back the 00's rock music here.
