@@helix33933 Lost sun ships if you look at the ships, are new ship designs not pallete swaps of rock ships (I checked every normal rock and lost sun ship design on the wiki and none line up). And the color scheme is only used for lost suns, other than one (removed) vanilla ship. Those examples are more unique, I am just saying that the lost suns do not just copy a pallete and design from other factions they are unique just not the most unique. I am not talking about general uniqueness of a faction, just the ship designs and palletes.

@@helix33933 Yeah I thought that too at first. Oh, and one more thing, lost Suns also use ship types that normal rocks lack, such as trapper or dropship, as well as lack some ship types that normal rocks have such as enforcer or interceptor.

This song has an amazing story woven into it if you examine its dual theme. The beginning almost sounds like an innocent or cheerful lost Sun before they rebelled but it grows and festers into low rocky tones and the occasional fire effect sound representing the Lost Sun. At 0:52 you can hear it happen. They've been beaten and abused by their government and have become hardened against the cruelties of the multiverse. As the song progresses, particularly at 2:10 another sound is added with an ftl jump signaling it's arrival. That's the player jumping into the sector and adding their voice to the song. Once the ftl jump sounds, the Lost Sun theme immediately becomes higher pitched signaling either their newfound hope or aggression to a new enemy. At 2:36 you can really start to hear clearly the Lost Sun harmonizing with the player. Continuing through the song it's the player's sound matching with the Lost Sun's. I take it to mean the player working with them in harmony against the corrupt Rock Theocracy but it could also be interpreted as you enforcing your own will on their sector. Either way, amazing song Squishyboi.

At first I thought the new ost was good, but the more I listen to it the more perfect it is The ancient theme, how it gets you ready for the true ending, like how the last stand gets you ready for the Normal one, it just so freakin good. Space ass battle is insanely banger, and the auto-ship area is amazing as well

It's brand new for 5.0, so it hasn't been implemented into the game yet. This also goes for serenity and hektar, and a fourth track that should be released soon.

I get really confused when I hear the warp sound a little over halfway through, mid combat it keeps making me think the enemy is fleeing. The solar flare sound is also confusing, I feel like sound effects linked with in-game effects probably shouldn't be in a song that plays in-game. Having said that, this song goes hard.
