Also, a two player mode. The more I think about it, the more I think it needs that. And maybe parts where more than one ship attacks you at a time. There's a lot of potential for a sequel.

yes yes all great ideas, Even more so, why not they add in Railgun ? it takes all weapon slots, charges a long time, but while charging all energy attacks you recieve are absorbed and missles launched at you explode as they impact the charging ball of energy safely away from your ship and then WOOOSH when you fire you do up to a quarter of any ship's Life regardless of shield number and when hit enemy sheilds are EMP'd and Broken Physically*

There has been so much content through mods that could just straight up be part of the game. Many more enemies, weapons, ships, events, backgrounds, etc. There's so much potential, it's insane. Have co-op, a duel mode, a ship customizer, etc. It makes me squirm just thinking about it. I'd kickstart the hell out of that.

The ships screens pulse as you you arrive in system. The flagships shape filling your screen again. you thought you killed it before but you were wrong... *you're the last federation ship left* (Edit: improved it abit)
