To help our viewers understand the universality of the fascia we have looked at the complex connective tissue of a grapefruit followed by microendoscopic footage of living human fascia. Under magnification and in a living person we can see the amazing complexity of the movement of the tendrils of myofascia. Watch as it allows flexibility through elasticity, surface tension, membranous separation, reformation of tubules and flexible movement. Also you can view the fluid conduction of the fascia system.
These microendoscopic images were reproduced with the kind permission of Dr. Jean-Claude Guimberteau. You can learn more about these images at www.EndoVivo.com .
See all the videos of the interview with John F. Barnes, Master Physical Therapist and Father of Modern Myofascial Release in the June 2014 Professional Edition of Functional Therapy Magazine.

I studied myofascial massage and was never taught this!? Absolutely mind blown at how it all moves and flows together. I didn't think I could be more amazed by this incredible tissue. And the way you described it all I very much enjoyed! Thank you for this valuable information.

You can attend John Barnes Myofascial Release seminars and you will be amazed at how much you will learn that you did not learn in massage school. For example, there is a MYOFASCIAL RELEASE International symposium that has studies extensive studies on how it functions and how to release it. If you are not holding your gentle compressions for 3-5 minutes you are not giving the body a chance to make long term changes. Same with horses. Check his seminars out if you need CECs

Oh wow I've never heard of such Fasia Therapist that is Awesome ❤❤ how exactly do you help activate or give therapy to The Fascia? Stretching exercise, get up on the rebounder, electro impulses therapy? Thank you as little as I know of fascia I've been taught that Fasia activate on his own from within so I'm very interested in how a Fascia Therapist work on The Fascia my friend ? Thank you !!

@@user-uh8vh1qw1i this a manual therapy. I am trained to feel the movement of the fascia with my hands and I follow what the body needs. So hard to explain in words, that a 3 years courses...This movement is the life flowing within us...

I am deeply touched and grateful by this video . Imagine this being taught in schools. Children would have such a closer insight into the wonder that is our body, and children ( if young enough) would understand this . I'm going to save this . Liked and subscribed ❤

Block therapy has helped an old injury so much I wanted to see the fascia. After spending thousands on my back for pain relief I finally found something that helps, costs nothing & I can do at home.

Specially when you roll a tennis ball under your feet by the mid way area where's Fasia sits by the arch. 😢Only ourselves can activate it's own fascia, in my humble studies, But you got it right my friend!!! Stretching at home moving at home get rid of pain for free..

Seems to me the fascia in our bodies is the bridge from spirit to physical. Amazing revelation. Sparking much curiosity about many aspects of its function and possible targeting of it by the powers that should not be....

Truly amazing! How do we even see it as tissue, when it acts more like water? A strand splitting, connecting, dividing, moving along a connecting strand and back, as if it were water with volition! Absolutely magical!

Thank you! What is the scale of the video? Is the magnification 25 times as at the beginning of "Strolling Under the Skin"? What tissues are examined? How were the tissues examined? What was the environment of the tissues?
