@@mmoss1490 May i ask hard questions: The being loved because of and coolness of being trans will be there for 1st weeks mouths years. = high on drugs/lies) Then the regretting comes in? Realization of truth? Being trans - a lie, which no soul stays believing in? List all the famous “male” pop singers and actors, politics: All are FTMs. List all the famous “female” pop singers and actors, politics: All are MTFs. What is the real reason, general public was made to believe such lie (trans lie)?

I watched this video a month before I realized I was trans. I thought you were so badass and i was mesmerized. I never thought I'd get what you have. I'll be on testosterone in 2months. I never forgot this video. it's always been in my mind and I used it as motivation. I've been watching you grow for years the way I want to grow and every video you put out gives me hope and makes me optimistic. I hope you see this. Thank you Ty

My biggest problem is finding the right motivation to work out... I am pre T so i have a hard time with my dysphoria as I'm sure most people do. sometimes i don't want to get off my couch.. what do you do to pump yourself up to work out?
@Krumbenet9 жыл бұрын
sorry im not ty but; just doing some push ups twice a week will make you feel more motivated in general and might help you start working out fo real :) idk, just an advice i got which helped me a lot

I used to use music, interests (I love video games, so Dance Dance Revolution was one of my biggest passions that I got really good at) and I find working out with a friend helps too. Also, building a badass playlist can help get you pumped and ready to go; usually stuff from movies like The Karate Kid and Rocky or music that's fast paced.
@leekennedy28455 жыл бұрын
If its hard for you to get yourself up to work out try to just get in quick bursts of intense work outs. Do chest and arms stuff. If you havent really worked out before you will see results so quickly. Do intense push up sets. Your muscle will grow so fast. That initial muscle growth is what really inspired me to keep going. I'm 2 and a half months on T now. The T helps to build muscle but it won't do it for you. My initial muscle gains inspired me to work harder and then the harder I've been working the more I've been gaining

@incredibleediblenick57169 жыл бұрын
I just want to add. Drink lots of water, and also if you ARE hydrated a great post-work out drink is chocolate milk (low fat of course) it's been shown to provide your muscles with the vitamins and nutrients they are craving after work out, and it also tastes good. Yum! But if you ARE NOT hydrated drink water instead because that will just dehydrate you more. I know right now in the holidays it's hard to find motivation but I plan to get back into it real soon. Thumbs up, Ty.

do you have any advice for a person who is on the chubbier side rather than being skinny :(
@TyTurner9 жыл бұрын
Keep a clean, balanced diet. That's the most important part. In the gym, your first instinct may be to do as much cardio as you can but that's not actually what's best for losing weight. You should be lifting and focusing on building muscle, nothing will burn better, I promise. As long as you keep a low calorie count and focus on building up muscle you will get results.
@Dannyashcroft989 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice man im going to follow your workout plan when i start going to the gym its seems pretty legit and you have a good build. So do i hope to achieve one day :)

+Ty Turner Same case. But then What if I really want to focus on gaining height ? Which means I have to avoid weight lifting. Do you have another alternative ?
@Eli-sp8fl6 жыл бұрын
TechTale Production weight lifting accentuates muscle mass so you’ll weigh more. eat lots of proteins

Does Ty have a diet plan video? If not can you make one Ty? I have very low willpower when I'm hungry. I've tried not eating so much but it's so hard for me because I eat when I'm bored.

You should lose some fat weight and gain muscle weight, however if your spine has properly fused like it should at the end of puberty you won't see any height growth.

Awesome video! What kind of foods are the best to have when bulking up and slimming down unwanted body fat? (i.e. thighs, hips) I think it would be awesome to maybe see some FTM diet videos in the future
@TyTurner9 жыл бұрын
If you're trying to do a lean bulk then just keep your diet as clean as possible while still having a high calorie intake with lots of protein. And that's a great idea, I'll definitely do that! :)
@Jaded85039 жыл бұрын
Stick to lean natural foods like eggs and skinless chicken breast not forgetting to add in some carbs and vegetables so your body has energy to burn off the fats. Also, healthy fats like fish oil, peanut butter and coconut oils are necessary to keep your hormones in balance and your metabolism running high.

This was helpful. I am not workout smart though so I'm a little confused as to what the difference between compound and isolation lifts are :/ I hope that doesn't sound too dumb. I've been meaning to hit up a gym and start a routine but the whole idea is so stressful and intimidating. I'm eager to see what you do during your workouts.
@TyTurner9 жыл бұрын
That's a good question, don't feel dumb! Isolation exercises just work one muscle. Like bicep curls isolate the peak (small head) of the bicep. While compound exercises activate more than one muscle group. Like with bench press, it works your chest, triceps, and shoulders. Also you can vary your form so that it works other muscles too.
@itscolehayes9 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for responding! That makes a lot more sense now. I guess there is a lot for me to learn. I don't want to just jump into a gym and hurt myself or end up with weird uneven limbs because I wasn't working them out correctly haha.

Question for any other transmascs, how do you get the motivation to workout? I get really bad dysphoria days where I just bundle myself up in layers and layers and curl up in bed to try and disconnect myself from my body. How do you guys overcome that feeling in just being unable to move in fear of seeing your own body or 'feeling' extra curves or parts when you move?
@dillon24082 жыл бұрын
Being mad or sad can help but mainly just remembering that it will get better and lifting and just exercising will help you mentally and physically.

this is an old comment so you probably won't see this but for anyone else - no! please don't. it's dangerous to wear your binder in every day life anyway, so exercising wearing a binder is really bad. wear a sports bra (YOUR SIZE) and a baggy shirt

I dont agree that doing overall workout is better than isolation. Isolation is super important. Overall wokouts are probably for once a week exercise such as hiit.
@avantgarde939 жыл бұрын
Same. Most people and bodybuilders isolate muscles. That's the whole point - so you can work out a couple muscle groups at a time and really tear them up and then rest them. If you do overall workouts every day... you're not gonna get anywhere. You need a rest day in-between working the same muscle, so they can relax and rebuild themselves. Otherwise you're just risking breaking them down even more and then they get smaller. Overall workouts make no sense if you're trying to get bigger. Just my input.
