Here’s a very real video of me when I’m in a state of depression and panic. I was struggling in the moment not knowing how to maintain my emotions so I spoke to the camera. I hope this video allowed some of you to embrace the bad days and know that’s it’s okay to be down at times. Thank you for watching!

@@landonmcnee7863 it’s not a problem man I have my first appointment on the 17th to start testosterone I am truly excited and nerves at the same time. But I want you to know that people can relate I also struggle with anxiety and depression it’s a every day battle I have been diagnosed with ptsd and at first I was a little worried about transitioning with mental health issues but with lots of research I have come to understand that testosterone actually for most people helps with mental health. How has your experience been? I know that you have been struggling a little bit based off this video.

@@angelpotts4799 thanks for sharing. That’s huge news dude!! When it comes down to it, testosterone has made me more comfortable in my body therefore happier...so yes it’s helped with depression. I will add that altering hormones can have an impact on depression (just something to be aware of in regards to side effects) and I know a lot of people don’t talk about it. Nothing to worry about, just something to be aware of! I just make sure to keep up with my shot every week to manage the highs and lows. Another words, I know I struggle with depression as is and testosterone can have an impact on your mood so monitoring your mood is important. Just something to note!

@@landonmcnee7863 yeah see that is why I think I may want to start on gel or patch first I would rather not experience all that up and down emotions between shots. And I completely understand what you are saying I have explained to my partner that we really don’t no how the hormones will effect me because everyone is different. I just no that my whole life Iv been depressed because of the body that I am in. From the time I found out the difference between boys and girls. I may not have none the terms for it yet but I definitely new that something was wrong. I think a part of me has just kept making up excuses to not transition but the more I push it off it’s like the more depressed I get. I just want to live my authentic self angel is my birth name idk how to change it on here but I go by Damon. Btw how did you feel when you stopped having periods I can not wait for that and to grow a beard. So I’m pre everything but I already got a little bit of a beard just from basically shaving.
