Hello Friend I live in Brazil, traveled to JAPAN, bought a Yaesu FTM 500D (Japanese version). I need to transmit in Brazil on 146.950 and the radio says TELA is prohibited. TX PROHIBITED. Can you help me make a change of region or opening in TX? What is the best solution for my case? Thank you if you could help. Moacyr PY3FK

I am not sure it can be changed. But I will do some research.

Did you use the same sd for the backup and the firmware update files?

You have to use the same SD card as the back up because of the directories structure that Yaesu puts in there. Follow the directions from the firmware Greg closely.

Is the DTMF fix the only benefit to the upgrade❓😊 In other words, has anything else changed❓ Is it worth doing the upgrade now or should I wait❓😯 (Good video, btw!)

The firmware upgrade also corrects an issue with time zones in the APRS feature. But those are the only two fixes in this firmware upgrade.
